My experience was amazing, house was clean, very spacious and very easy to get to. Appliances worked and kitchen was stocked like I never even left my own house. Christine was always available and kept things running smoothly. Will be staying here again in the future. Highly recommend to anyone.
The house was perfectly situated for a family reunion to visit our latest granddaughter who lives nearby. Christine was the perfect hostess and the house was great. Much better than staying in a hotel! We will recommend to anyone needing a house in the Philadelphia area to stay here. The bedrooms are a good size, sitting room dining area perfect. Additional sitting room and TV room plus large kitchen.
Christine was a great help, and the house was fantastic. We really enjoyed the location and everything was easy to get to.
The home was very clean and set up great. We had a senior who stayed in the first floor master which was great, thanks again to Christine.
I organized a weekend reunion with my old college friends and could not pick a more perfect house. It's a beautiful place with a great fireplace. There was ample space for everyone and was located just down the street from a gas station, grocery, many restaurants, and a Target.
Christine was super helpful and responsive. She also provided us some delicious homemade jam which was incredibly enjoyed at breakfast the next day.
Would love to stay at this place again!
Our stay at Christine's home was just lovely! The house has huge bedrooms and ample living spaces. We spent our Thanksgiving in this home and it was perfect. Christine even brought over serving platters, large pots and pans, and extra chairs and tables. She is very thoughtful and responsive. I would recommend this house to anyone!
The house is directly facing Belmont Ave and a little noisy at night because of passing vehicles.
Most lights in the kitchen room were not working, we tried at least 5 times to turn them on, but never worked. It was dark in the living room with 2 light bulbs working and other 4-6 completely dead.
The water heater stopped working constantly, my friends and I had to take cold showers almost every time. Contacted host and she said it might be because there is some kind of valve that shut down the water heater when it was late at night. However, even when my friends tried showering at early afternoons, the water was still cold. Host promised to get back to us with answers, never did.
Other things like kitchen appliances, towels, bed sheets etc were pretty standard, just like other places listed on AirBnb.
One final thing, Check their house rules before making a reservation.
as reviewed positively every other time, this a direct retaliation for honest negative feedback for treating my home as a frat house. I go above & beyond to make everyone's stay a comfortable positive experience. please make sure you NEVER host a frat party at someone's home again. Thank you for making it right by paying the requested fee for the damage you caused. Security deposit does not give one the right to destroy property. Thank you!
We came down in 6 from Montreal for the Philadelphia Marathon. We had a great stay at Christine's. The house is big, beautiful and full of comfort.
Lovely home and great overall experience.
My husband and I shared this home with my three grown daughters and it worked out wonderfully. Everyone had plenty of space both to spread out and to be together. It was clean, well stocked and thought out. We will use it again when in the area. Thanks, Christine!
Christine's home was absolutely beautiful!! It was perfect for a girls getaway weekend with college friends. The house was extremely well-kept and clean with more than enough space for everyone!! It was a quick and easy ride or walk (less than half a mile) to downtown Manayunk. Christine was amazing to work with - she was super nice and easy to get a hold of if needed. She left us eggs and homemade jelly (which was delicious!!) for breakfast! I would highly recommend working with Christine and staying in her beautiful house!
