Lovely apartment on two levels with private area upstairs for guests. A gorgeous view over the water of Sai Kung and the apartment is at the beginning of a country park so you won't feel like you are in Hong Kong. Close to buses and trains and only a few minutes into Sai Kung town which is known for its seafood.
Guests have their own kitchen and dining/sitting area, and brand new shower and toilet as well as an open space outside to sit and enjoy the view. Guests are welcome to use the lounge, dining room and main bathroom downstairs but that will be shared with host. Minimum stay in upstairs area is 2 nights.
Not suitable for small children as I have two dogs and I am worried about the stairs. Only babies or children over 8 will be accepted.
Facilities include Kitchen, own bathroom, laundry, wifi internet, parking if needed
Interaction with Guests
I interact with my guests as much or as little as they prefer.
My neighbourhood is at the beginning of the country park so there is lots of greenery around. My house also has a lovely waterview so guests can simply sit in the outdoor area and enjoy the view.
There are buses not even one minute away that go into Sai Kung town or to the nearest MTR at Wu Kai Sha station or to University station and Shatin station.

Other Things to Note
You must like dogs as I have two lovely ones who are very friendly.
Smoking is not allowed in the house but there is a large outdoor area on both levels where you can smoke.
Jill was very nice and the accommodations were great and roomy as well. Private upstairs deck overlooks the bay is beautiful. I went there for two nights from a eight day vacation to Hong Kong. After looking at lonely planet guide it recommended Sai kung as a great hiking kayaking get outa the city place and lived up to its name. There are buses every 20 minutes into Sai kong from Jills. In The town of Sai kong there is kayaking for HK$60 for the entire day. beautiful kayaking around all the islands. You can walk to Sai kong in about 20 minutes or the bus is two minutes and cost Like $5 HK . The town is fun lotsa restaurants right in the water. Motor boats out to islands. Jill's house is 25 minutes (by taxi) to the Sai kung country park east dam trail head $110 HK taxi one way. Incredidible hiking. (Bus only goes to park entrance and from entrance to trail head is about 2 miles. So I took taxi. No buses or cars (other than taxis) can go in park. Jill left a great breakfast spread with just about anything you want to have for breakfast and snacks as well. Overall a great experience. Easy trip from central HK.
We had a fantastic weekend at Jill's. Sai Kung is the very best place to stay in Hong Kong if you like the great outdoors, and Jill's village is very close to the start of the famous Maclehose trail and the country parks, which is why we picked it. It's also not too far from the lovely Sai Kung town where you can find some lovely restaurants, cafes and bars.
Jill and her fiance Bill were warm and welcoming from the very start. Before we'd arrived, Jill provided lots of info on finding the house and patiently took all my questions (I had quite a few, because it was my first time on Airbnb). The bnb itself was simple, but well set up: clean and cosy with a beautiful balcony - the pic on their profile is spot on. They'd even stocked up on breakfast nibbles and tea, which we appreciated because their quiet village isn't so convenient for picking up groceries etc. We'll surely be back soon.
Minor quibble - the fridge was quite noisy, which kept some of us awake. Also the third bed turned out to be slightly broken, so my friend had a restless first night of sleep. But as soon as Jill found out, she sorted it and after that all was well. Thanks, Jill and Bill.
So glad you enjoyed your time at ours. After several notes about the fridge we have fixed the problem (hopefull) and it is now very quiet. As for the blow up bed, as mentioned it is really only for children and not a 6 ft 3 large man but that problem has also been remedied. Thanks for your feedback so we can continue to improve the experience for everyone.
Overall we had a brilliant stay at Jill's and would highly recommend her lovely sea view flat.
Jill was the perfect host. After a bit of a struggle in finding her place - we arrived in the evening - the rest was smooth sailing. Jill was extremely flexible, accommodating, and welcoming. She set up a separate bed for our 2 year old, and made sure the kitchen was stocked with essentials. Her balcony is just amazing, and the morning and evening views are stunning. We felt pampered and lucky to stay in this little oasis away from the city.
We booked this flat for 6 nts whilst visiting our daughter in the Sai Kung area. Jill was very helpful and responsive in the booking process and beyond e.g. travel tips from the airport.
The property is a convenient location just a few minutes bus journey into Sai Kung. It is a fair distance from Hong Kong centre but since we were focused primarily on Sai Kung area that was not an issue. The view from the roof garden is amazing. The flat is homey and relaxed.
The shower/toilet room is very small but functional. However, some of the furniture is beyond shabby chic. The TV stand, the large TV and the refrigerator are beyond their use by date. As noted by other reviewers the fridge is noisy especially when starting. The small kitchenette had ample cutlery but few dishes and very limited cooking pans, etc. It has good wifi and washer/drier.
The dogs are very friendly. Sunny could play catch all day!
Jill was away at the time that we stayed but she arranged coverage. She was quick to respond to texts/mails.
In summary, if you are looking for a hotel quality apartment, this isn't for you. (But there are few flats and almost nil hotels in the area). If you like quirky, don't want to cook much and want a great view, this flat may suit you fine.
Appalling. Good view, but that was all. The room was full of old dilapidated furniture, which was crammed with someone else's old clothing. The bed is a small double, which is jammed against a wall, making it inadequate for two people. The "bathroom" has a shower recess which has the vanity inside the shower, and the total floor area would be about 1.5 sq m. The sliding shower screen is mounted on the outside of the fixed panel, which guarantees that it will leak all over the floor every time. You don't even have room to dry yourself in the bathroom, and need to go across the stairway to the main room. There are no towel rails either. The standard of cleaning was questionable, with someone's toothbrush and an empty shampoo satchel in the bathroom, and the kitchen, although they had provided some bread and jam, was poorly equipped. There was no tea or coffee, and not a plate to be seen. The fridge is noisy and wakes you every time it starts.
We left at 9.30am after one of our two nights. There was no sign of our hosts the evening before, or on that morning.
I would not go back if you paid me.
Ideally placed for the immediate area of Sai Kung and no problems in traveling around Hong Kong with the excellent transport links. I found the property relatively easily as had some intimate knowledge of the local area. It is a matter of the last 100metres that may benefit from some form of illustration, perhaps a couple of photos or sketch. This area appears to only have house numbers t add to the possible confusion when first arrive.
Enjoyed my stay over nearly 4 weeks.
