The stay in Guanajuato and especially at Donna's place was really nice. The location is great for visiting the city. The room and bathroom was very clean and Donna is very organized! Once I come back I definitely will go back to her place.
Great place in the heart of Guanajuato. Plenty of places where to get food around in the shape of convenience stores and restaurants. We loved our stay.
The room and house were as advertised and more. The bed was comfy after several long days of walking, the area was quiet and house (email hidden) was delicious and served with a smile in the morning. Donna was great she went far beyond staying up waiting for us till 2 am when our flight was delayed. We highly recommend anyone staying here if going to Guanajuato.
The house was nice. There were many steps though. No rail or guard on one with a steep drop. It's okay for someone younger with few bags. My mother wished for less stairs and not such z steep climb. Other than that everything was alright.
You are right Honey! that's what my ad says and what the pictures show:
By the way! The Apartment is on uphill St, is not suitable for people who are out-of-shape or hate to walk. Please read carefully the services tab in each ad; do not expect or demand more amenities than I offer.......
Thanks for a super visit! The location of the Hacienda is excellent. There are neighborhood eats and groceries nearby - xoxo across the street. I walked to the Centro plaza's and churches for some exploring. The Hacienda itself is very tranquil, cool and quiet compared to the noise I'm used to in Sayulita. I enjoyed the light breeze through my bedroom window and the sound of birds. The rambling Hacienda is interesting - I could see old straw and pinecones pressed into the beautiful old handmade pueblo bricks outside my window. The price is very reasonable, which is why I chose this house, and the hostess is charming and intelligent.
Super cute place.
Muy agradable la anfitriona Donna, pasamos unos dias muy agradables, todo limpio y la ventaja de contar con una ubicacion muy centrica, volveria a hospedarme en esta linda casa, 100% recomendable.
Donna was very accommodating. Our flight arrived very early on Sunday (like 8:00am!), so it was great to be able to check in so early as nothing else was open and we didn't know where else to go yet.
The place is very charming, yet rustic (it is Mexico) and also very secure which was nice. There are 3 locked doors/gates to get into the place and the local Policia estacion is down the street, so again, we felt secure there and had no problems.
The walk to the Centro is about 20 minutes, a little longer to the main Jardin. Close by there are plenty of local shops and tiendas to eat or stock up on some things to keep in the fridge like we did.
We greatly enjoyed our time in Guanajuato and I look forward to going back again to study my Spanish.
Lovely space and grounds. The apartment was stylish, and I liked the very mexican, inside/outside feel of the design. It has a cool dark interior (it's walls are a heavy, exposed quarried stone), with doors and windows that open to an internal courtyard. Good value for the price, and great place to stay a few days.
Its location, while not central (in my book this is a good thing), is still very walkable to the main attractions downtown. It is set back on a private street in its own secure gated area that was quite beautiful.
