Location was great. Room and facilities were comfortable loved the pool and lanai. Would like to have more towels.
It was our first time family vacation, so we were really exciting about it. I think Keoki is an easy going guy, and he always answer the phone whenever we need help. The place that we stayed was clean and convenient to everywhere. I will contact him again in the future if we visit Hawaii.
Our experience was good, the listing was exactly as expected. Everything was clean and we really like that neighbourhood.
Keoki was very responsive to all my communications before and during our stay. Unit is in an ideal location, only 2 blocks from Waikiki Beach, with Zoo, Aquarium, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment close by. Nice partial view of beach & ocean from the lanai. Kitchen is equipped with only a basic few pots & pans for cooking, but plenty of plates, bowls, drinking glasses, and flatware. There were only a couple of washcloths for bathing, and none for washing dishes, but I picked up a few cheap ones, along with a package of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, salt and pepper when I bought groceries for the week upon our arrival. There is a laundry room on floor 22, with one coin-operated washer and one coin-operated dryer ($1.50 each per load), but no laundry soap available for purchase in the laundry room. Add that to your shopping list. My plan was to enjoy a great Oahu vacation on a budget, and Keoki recommended some terrific free & low-cost activities for our time there. He provides 3 beach towels along with 7 bath towels. In addition, he has pool/beach inflatables and one folding chair on the lanai for guests' use--what a nice gesture! The only thing we bought tickets for was snorkeling gear rental at a snorkel shop (the upgrade to silicone mask is totally worth it!), and the fee ($7 each) to snorkel at Hanauma Bay (again--totally worth it! And get there before 9:00 a.m.) Be sure he knows how many people are in your party so that he can provide sufficient bedding for the futon. The queen size bed and twin size bed were satisfactory, and futon is satisfactory for sleeping on. However, the futon (like most) makes a very uncomfortable sofa. Kitchen lighting was pretty dim, even with pole lamp and countertop light under the microwave. The unit was clean and relatively comfortable for a memorable Waikiki vacation. Keoki is a great host! If we ever get to go back there, I will definitely look him up for accommodations!
The unit was about 2 blocks from the beach, about 8 minutes from the International Market and a food pantry, and around 10-12 minutes from Waikiki Beach and the bars.
The unit was pretty spacious, clean, and stocked with things that we needed. We were provided with sufficient amount of towels, blankets, and even 3 boogie boards. The kitchen was equipped with things you needed in case you feel like cooking during your trip.
Keoki was easily reachable via phone. I didn't get to meet him but he was able to provide us the lock box key code which allowed us quick check in. Having the parking pass was definitely helpful.
I highly recommend this unit!
The condo was in a great location. The only real issue we had was that the condo was not cleaned before we got there. Granted, we arrived a bit early just to drop off our luggage, but when we came back an hour after the check in time the place was still dirty with the same sheets used by the previous guest. Keoki was good about finding someone to come that evening to clean the place for us. Also, the A/C unit isn't very strong, but still comfortable.
This unit was as described, bathroom, not showing in pics, was as nice and recently updated like the rest of the unit. Internet service was on the slow side, but if you are not planning on working from there it is nice to have the free internet. We had a very nice stay.
The reservation was canceled 236 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
This will definitely be a place that I would revisit if I happen to be in the area again: very close to the beach, to public transportation and to shopping and restaurants. The unit is clean and comfortably accommodated the four of us on this trip. We had a rental car and it was superb that there was on site parking and a pass provided, so no additional cost.Major disappointments for us was that during our stay there was construction that we had not been warned about; this meant no sleeping in at all, because of the loud hammering around the units relatively early in the day, and then we had no balcony access--which was sad because this was one of the major reasons we picked this particular location. Very nice place for the money.

I agree with other reviewers that if you don't plan on doing anything in other parts of the island, then you don't need a car. Upon arrival at the airport, we got in touch with Sue who provided the directions on accessing the keys and parking pass to the unit; just one snafu revolved around being given the wrong code---but that was resolved pretty quickly, and once we were in--all was good!! Even though we didn't personally meet the owner, Sue was pretty responsive on any questions we had. All in all, a good stay--reasonable price and I would come back again.
