This 2 LARGE bedroom apartment with a KING size Murphy bed and a sofa bed in the spacious living room is NOT shared with anyone. You are renting the entire apartment.
Parking is optional. Parking is available a 1/2 block away (30 second walk) and is $16 for up to 24 hours per vehicle with in/out privileges. No reservation required.
There are only three steps up to the front door so this apartment may be suitable for people with mobility issues.

You will have the entire apartment to yourselves. No sharing with anyone.
This is a an opportunity for my guests to explore all that Ottawa has to offer without interruption though I am always a text, email or phone call away.
An eclectic, downtown location within walking distance of all major attractions. Close (3 blocks) to a large 24 hour grocery store.
Four major bus routes steps from front door. Cabs are easy to flag.
Interaction with guests
This condo has its own cosy private terrace with a BBQ for your exclusive use.
Check-in is anytime after 3:00 pm. Check out is anytime up to 11:00 am. I am not able to store luggage before check-in time or after check-out.
The condo is NOT for parties, get-togethers, stags, bachelor/ette gatherings, prom nights, dinner/cocktail parties, etc. The number of people in the home at any time must not exceed the maximum number allowed to stay overnight. Anyone found to break this rule forfeits their security deposit.
I ask that our guests be respectful of my home, the furnishings and supplies, and also respectful of my fellow neighbours. Excessive noise will not be tolerated. Quiet time starts at 11:00 p.m. every night. The terrace is for your enjoyment from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. every day of the week. Guests who are entertaining after 11:00 p.m. must remain inside the house, with the windows and doors closed (there is air conditioning if required) and must maintain a level of noise that will not disturb the neighbours. Any excessive noise will not be tolerated (my neighbours are reasonable and will only complain if it is obvious that the people staying are having a party that did not end at 11:00 p.m. A party can be less than 8 people ~ it is not the size of the group but the volume of the noise). Noise complaints will be dealt with no matter what the time is. Failure to heed a first warning of a noise complaint will result in a demand to vacate the premises immediately, which includes a loss of your deposit and no refunds. It is regrettable that I must be this clear with the noise rule but I have had so many past guests abuse my trust and booked the property with the intent to party.
Please leave the home in the same condition it was when you arrived. Collect up all garbage and recycling and leave in the bins in the kitchen. Please wash your dishes.
Smoking is prohibited inside the building. Anyone who smokes in the building will forfeit their security deposit. Smoking is limited to outside on the terraces and ashtrays must be used. Please ensure that all cigarettes are extinguished properly. Do not flush ashtray contents down the toilets. Dispose of the contents safely in the garbage (after the butts have soaked in water).
Cancel up to 7 days before your trip and get a 50% refund. Cancel within 7 days of your trip and the reservation is non-refundable.

When I travel and stay in private homes I expect to have all the basics available (like spices, coffee, tea, sugar, bathroom tissue, laundry soap) as well as finding the kitchen to have an abundance of pots/pans, knives, serving bowls, baking sheets, casserole dishes, etc.
Since I have found this is not always the case, I understand how disappointing that can be, so I tend to go overboard and offer everything I can think of!
I am a retired interior designer and a Cordon Bleu grand diplome chef. I have taken my training and experience from these two fields and applied it to offering the best accommodation for my guests, including a well-stocked kitchen! :-))
