Check In
  • Completely beautiful location and property, and accommodations exactly as shown. Simple rooms, no amenities beyond wifi and towels (although there is also a washer/dryer, and I think you can use kitchen) so bring shampoo/hair dryer, etc. Check-in was super easy and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location couldn't be more perfect for exploring the wine tasting region, and it is just a 8-12m drive into Templeton or Paso Robles for nearby dining. The water is from a well, so we experienced pretty severe sulfur-smelling water in the shower, but it didn't bother me much. I would definitely return, great value!

  • What a restful, rejuvenating and relaxing environment this is. Deer and wild turkey visited the property morning and nite; the organic garden reminded me that someone cares about what they eat and serve others. We could have relaxed in our room with a verandah overlooking the fields and shaded by the oak trees but instead chose to take long walks around the property and back roads to discover what laid beyond. We drove the side roads to explore and spent a day in Cambria on the bluffs and at the beach. Totally glorious! And the green of the hills this time of year is primeval. Oh, and there are vineyards and tasting rooms.
The bed allowed me the most comfortable nite's sleep in months. Everything was clean. We've already recommended this place to several friends, especially one who leads groups on families and relationship.

  • Dancing Deer Farm is actually a large ranch with two large main buildings that can host I believe +25 people each. When we stayed there we were the only guests but the service was great anyways. The facilities are nice, the view is amazing, and the people is friendly. Would love to come back sometime.

Only drawback for us was that we didn't have access to a full kitchen.
