WE HAVE A NEW ROUTER, we are a little traumatized by our past frustrations, but so far so good with the new router and its WIFI!!!
This room has a lovely northern window so light streams in without making it hot. The room is very large: 12 square meters. It has a fantastic location in very popular comuna Providencia, one block away from metro station Santa Isabel. The room has a bed for two.
Be close to everything you may want to visit, right next to Santiago's Downtown on one side and Barrio Italia on the other.
The apartment itself is fairly large (91m2). The apartment has a beautiful wooden floor, a medium size living room to chill out after a busy day, a beautiful kitchen with all the amenities you might need if you decide to dine in, and a large beautiful bathroom.
The apartment is located across the street from Bustamante Park, and a block away from several coffee's and restaurants.
The rent includes full house privileges: Internet, kitchen access, washing machine and basic expenses (water, electricity and gas).
The apartment was good, except the tv was not there anymore. We knew the internet wasn't the best, however, it did not work while we were there. We also had some trouble with the hot water heater. It was conveniently located near public transit and a grocery store. Restaurants weren't as close. Camila was helpful at getting us all set and helping us to arrange a way to the airport.
Amy & Joshua, I am very sorry about the internet, it is fully down these days and we are working on resolving that. Regarding the hot water, I wish I knew before you left, it is a surprise for me since I haven't had issues with it before, thank you for the feedback regardless, so I can be sure to have it resolved for our next guests.
Mireya the owner of the apartment is just great, the most amazing experience that we had in Santiago, I have no words to say how thankful we are. The apartment is great and close to all facilities that we needed, We totally recommend.
Camila is very nice and accommodating, and we would definitely recommend this artsy, functional apartment in a safe, convenient neighborhood very close to the subway and a 10-15 minute walk to great nightlife. This apartment itself is occupied by the owner (not Camila), although we only saw her briefly twice in three days. Camila gave us some good advice on Santiago, and even allowed us to keep our bags in the apartment until we left for the airport on the last evening. Wi-fi was an issue, but we knew that going in.
We stayed in 'Artsy Barrio Italia' in mid February before heading off on a cruise. It's an apartment on the third floor of an older style apartment block, and very conveniently located close to Santa Isabela station. The well-ventilated apartment is relatively small, but decorated in such a way as to feel warm and welcoming to world travellers; the quirky, artistic and attractive decorations give the apartment a homely feel, a nice place to come back to at the end of a busy day out exploring Santiago. The kitchen and meals area is small but well provided for with cooking utensils, and there is a washing machine available for use. The lounge area has chairs and a couch, television and small side tables. The bedroom has a desk and storage areas available with extra drawers and some hanging space. The bathroom has a small, instantaneous hot water service. There is wifi available, though the service was occasionally intermittent. Camila was very helpful welcoming us to Santiago, and sorting things out for us in the apartment, and by showing us how to get a BIP card for public transport; we found the train system relatively straight-forward. We really enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend the apartment.

Camilla and Mirella are fantastic hosts. They both took great care to make us feel welcome and well settled in, and they helped us to make best us of the city. Mirella's flat is very confortable and quiet, and very well situated. We both warmly advice staying there!
We had a really nice stay at Mireya's apartment and Camila was an excellent host. We met Mireya on arrival, who is really sweet, and although Camila does not live there, within a very short time after our arrival she had come over to check we'd settled in and to make sure everything was organised to ensure a comfortable stay. Camila, as you will see when you meet her, is herself a very charming and friendly person. She is an excellent communicator and the service she provides through airbnb is excellent. Before our arrival she was really prompt with confirming our request and she provided us with detailed instructions on the best ways to get to the apartment. On the day of our arrival she walked into the city with us and we enjoyed a personal guided tour and saw parts of the city we may never have seen if it wasn't for Camila. She is very sociable and went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our time in Santiago, inviting us round for a fab dinner party, taking us to a local club and making sure for New Years Eve we had a few places if we decided to avail, which we did! We would highly recommend Camila and her accommodations.

My name is Camila, I'm 32 years old and I have a B.A in Biotechnology from Universidad de Chile.
As work I freelance and am currently doing my thesis, I usually work a lot, partially from home. In my spare time I enjoy watching series or a movie, going out to eat, watch a band or go dancing.
I enjoy having people floating around my apartment since it feels like it becomes more alive. I love sharing with people from different cultures. To have conversations over home prepared diverse meals.
I have several listings, some of them are located at my apartment and the others at my friends apartments: Andres, Nancy, and Mireya, whom I know very well and trust and also know that are wonderful hosts themselves.
I hope all my guests feel very welcome, with the freedom and independence to do what they may.
