1.5 miles from I5. Separate entrance, simple, sweet, private king bedroom, with private bath, microwave, mini fridge and french press. Luxurious king size McCroskey "cloud" mattress. Safe, quiet residential neighborhood. Self contained, space in our home. Non toxic cleaning products used
Blocks from tree lined Willamette River parks, bike/jog path network provides fun and easy access to UofO, downtown Eugene and the Marketplace, 1 mile to Old Town Springfield. Autzen 1.3 miles.2 blocks from bus

The space
Because it is a self contained area in the house, we call this private bedroom and bath with walk in shower, a studio. There is a small TV, Wifi, robes, luggage racks and closets with shelves, hair dryer etc. Small fridge and microwave, electric kettle. French Press, or pour over, and fresh grounds.... Enjoy your morning coffee on your own, private, outside porch and garden area. We use unscented, non toxic natural products....miles of gorgeous riverside paths, four blocks away.

Singles, duos and family friendly. We can accommodate 3, if one is an infant or child and sleeping in the king size bed with you. However, we cannot host kids for free, we do charge for a third person, even if it is an infant or child. thank you.

Please be friendly. If you are looking for more of a hotel experience, might be best to look at other listings...like we describe, your space is a separate space, but we live in the house too. You may hear us in other rooms, or come across us in the yard. We don't have to be your new best friends, but we do enjoy saying hello if we are around, and check in to see if you are comfortable, after that it's up to you to let us know if you need anything. Please be appreciative that hosts are welcoming you into their homes.

Relax in the outside seating, in our growing garden area. You are free to smoke and vape outside only please. But remember, we are not a party house, please leave any excess drinking at the pub

Guest access
Although this studio/room is a self contained part of our home, meaning we have tried to set it up, so you don't need access to other parts of the house, you may hear us from time to time, or see us in the yard, and vice versa, There is plenty of free parking in front of the house.

Other things to note
We give our guests space but are available when needed.
WE love being hosts! We enjoy meeting you as soon as possible after you check in, at your convenience, but then you are welcome to be as private as you want.
I may text you and access the space to provide fresh ground coffee or fresh linens and so you don't have to do dishes, to remove/replace any dishes you have used. I try to do this when you are out and about, unless i have your permission when you are in house.
Scent free: Hostess uses unscented cleaners and detergents, request that guests use the shampoo, soap etc that we supply, and please apply scented toiletries outside of guest suite, to keep residue that causes allergic reactions for future guests clear of this space.
Personal scented products are best applied outside the guest suite as your perfumed items stay a LOT longer than you do and can contribute to allergic response in other guests. Thanks for your consideration.

Neighborhood highlights

Lovely safe residential neighborhood, five blocks from the river park and the hike/bike/Prefontaine path system that is fun and beautiful . We are 1.3 miles from Autzen stadium, and a 10 minute bike ride from Eugene and U of O campus, as well as one mile from Old Town Springfield, the Washburne Cafe, Lovely Cafe, Tavern on Main, and the Public House. We are minutes away from the 5th Street Marketplace, and the Hult Performance Center in Eugene, as well as numerous recreational activities.we are also an easy walk to a wonderful natural food store as well as
Mexican, Chinese, cafes and a good crepe/coffee cart and Pursue Fitness center four or 5 blocks away, and a couple of other small express markets within a few blocks as well. Safeway and other big stores are within about 1.5 miles and a laundromat is very close by.
