This is a great apartment for a relaxed few days in Copenhagen - it's a corner apartment so with lots of light, the heating works perfectly so always nice and warm if you want it, clean (though not sterile!), cozy and has all you need...
Large bedroom with double bed and baby bed (baby facilities available) plus large living/dining room with sofa that folds into double bed. Two large desk spaces (one in living room, one in bedroom) plus space at dining table. Light (corner apartment with high ceilings) and cozy. Nice kitchen with shower cabin. Separate toilet. Free wifi.
1 minute from Fasanvej metro, 2 minutes from Frederiksberg park. Many shops, cafes and restaurants just around the corner.
The security deposit (700 kr) is to remind you to return the key ;-)
Note: different people have different norms re cleanliness -- I leave you my apartment clean and fresh and expect it returned that way. But my apartment is not hospital-room clean so if you want a place where all looks as if new, this is not it...
Upon departure, please leave the apartment clean & tidy (as when you checked in).
Great location and a nice sized apartment! I wish it was a little bit tidier but a good stay regardless. Thank you for letting us stay in your home Luisa!
Everything was as described. Great flat to discover copenhagen by your bike.
Apartment was clean and as described in the listing. Has everything you need, and in a great location in Frederiksberg. Would highly recommend
We stayed at Luisas for 5 days and for a young couple like us it was absolutely perfect. The apartment is very close to the Metro station Fasanvej, the trains leave every 2 to 3 minutes to the airport (15 minutes ride) or to the center of Copenhagen (5 minutes ride). Also the neighborhood of Frederiksberg is lovely and worth to discover! The flat itself is very cosy and clean. It's a little clairaudient but I guess thats normal in such an old -and very beautiful- building.
Worth mentioning is kitchen which is equipped well for cooking or having breakfast - in consideration of the fact that going out to eat can be very expensive in Copenhagen. There are plenty of grocery shops just around the corner. The shower is in the kitchen, which didn't bother us at all.
The communication with Luisa was very easy, she replied quickly and was friendly-she even left us an architecture guide because I mentioned my interest in an email. All in all I'd definitely recommend the place!
I think we must've caught Luisa on an off week, because all her other reviews are pretty good, but our experience was mixed. A few hours before we arrived, I got an email from her saying she had to leave in a hurry, thus the bed sheets were dirty and apt not so clean. She said we should bring our own sheets or use what we could find, but we were already in Europe from NYC at that point. There weren't really any sheets there to use, but we did our best to make it work. At least she was honest but still, not a great way to start the stay. We were instructed to find keys in a secret place which can be stressful, but it worked out fine. Once inside, the apt smelled like rotting food, which we thought came from spoiled milk in the fridge so we chucked it but the rancid food smell never went away. The downstairs neighbors blasted music late at night one night and had loud sex a few times but maybe for some that's a perk! :/ Shower is in the kitchen and as you get out, there are large curtain-less windows. Probably no one is watching but it's not for the modest. Bonuses were that the apartment itself was spacious and charming, near the subway and laundry, and conveniently located. Neighborhood was nice. Place is great for people with kids with a crib, park, etc. which isn't us, but could be good for others. WIFI. Well stocked kitchen, equipment wise. Luisa is very nice, seems honest and responded fast to every request. Still, staying there was like paying to crash at a friend's unkempt place, which wasn't the experience we were looking for.
Great location! We had a nice staying and we recommend Luisa for your staying in Copenhagen.
I'm from the Netherlands but am now working as assistant professor in anthropology at the university of Copenhagen. I travel a lot (especially to India where I do research).
