  • Mirey's home was very nice, located in a quiet neighborhood. The room and adjoining bathroom were comfortable. Mirey and her son Gonzalo were both very helpful, and we enjoyed talking with them. Mirey kindly let us leave our belongings at the house until the evening, since we were taking a night flight out of Santiago. Gonzalo drove us to the airport for a very reasonable charge. Thank you, Mirey and Gonzalo, for a pleasant stay in Santiago!

  • Staying with Mirey made our visit to Santiago a wonderful experience. Her home is in a quiet neighborhood where we felt very safe when walking to and from the Metro or the grocery store. We were lucky to be the first ones to use the great new bathroom attached to our bedroom. Mirey's patio is a great place to sit and relax after touring all day. Mirey and her son, Gonzalo, were very helpful when we had questions about what to see and how to get there. Gonzalo even drove us to the bus station the day we left and waited with us until we boarded the bus. In addition to the great hospitality, the view from Mirey's home is fantastic because it is surrounded by the Andes Mountains. We would like to have the chance to stay with Mirey again.

  • mirey and her son gonzalo have been great hosts - i felt familiar at this place all the time: receiving lovely breakfasts in the morning up to enjoy a cheese slide, that was only served for me to complete the day with a red wine on their comfortable terrace. away from that: even the position of this apartment is great in my opinion. it's a save, quite place with best connections to the metro and bus-lines.

  • Mirey's house in the quiet suburban street was the perfect arrival point in Santiago. She, her sister, her sons and even visits from her grandchildren made the stay really feel like 'at home with a welcoming family'.

  • Fantastic stay! We left Michigan to find warm weather. We also found the warmest people you could imagine. We felt like family shortly after arrival. Even the 2 cats befriended us. Mirey was a wonderful and charming hostess. Her house is spotless and filled with interesting knick knacks from around the world. The pool was a welcome relief after spending our days exploring Santiago. Mirey helped us navigate the transportation system and made phone calls for us to get information or make reservations. Gonzalo(Mirey's son) became a good friend. He gave us tips on things to do and see in the area. We had some stimulating political discussions and he makes a "killer" Pisco sour.
The neighborhood is safe and quiet...a few dogs bark during the day, but never at night. Main bus line is 3 blocks away and the metro is about a 12 minute walk. We found some nice restaurants near by, including Alvero's home made Italian gelato stand, Roma pizzeria, and Lafuente del Cesar sandwich shop. We also ate at Lafinestra 3 times. It is a new Italian restaurant in the Plaza Nunoa area which is 5-10 minutes away by bus. The food is fantastic and the young owners are warm and friendly.
All in all, a great time for our first AirBNB stay.

  • It was wonderful staying with Mirey and perfect for us as we travelled with a baby. The room and the whole house is very comfortable, clean and cosy and the garden with pool is gorgeous. Mirey is an extremely friendly and welcoming person, helpful and nice. Next time in Santiago we will stay again at her place.

  • The room is really confortable and Mirey is a really friendly person! The breakfast was also really good and I got to drink the best orange juice ever.

  • Mirey's home is very comfortable and welcoming, and so reflects the hostess herself. Far from the noise and pollution of central Santiago, in the quiet but funky (in the UK sense of the word) suburb of Nunoa, it is a welcoming little oasis. Mirey and her son Gonzalo were prompt and friendly in their responses and I really enjoyed my stay with the family. The purpose of my visit was to see my young son and they were equally warm and welcoming to him when I brought him round to the house. And Mirey even makes breakfast! my first airbnb where this happened. Wonderful! I will return to stay next time I visit for (website hidden) Also great for transport - Plaza Egana metro is a ten minute walk away and there are loads of buses to the centre too.
