No more availability ? look at my 2 other nice 3 room in Chamonix Town's heart, LYRET 1-A (52 m²) and LYRET1- B (52 m2) - 2 bathrooms - recently refurbished. Very good appraisal .

In addition to the view, the apartment is beautiful! It is modern, tastefully decorated, well equipped, having one large window and a large balcony with a splendid view of Chamonix. Furthermore, it is ideally located! Residence Morgane just benefit from the renovation of its façade and offers a 2 bedroom apartment, fully equipped, modern and elegant. It includes one large living area leading to a large balcony, 2 bedrooms (one double bed and the second with two single bunk beds) plus a very good sofa bed in the living room (double bed), 1 new bathroom with washing machine (11/2014) and one large shower and full kitchen. Oak floors, wood ceiling "ripped" integrated spotlights with dimmer for your intimate in evening and chic teak furniture were installed following the renovation. The apartment provides access to one private place in the secure, underground parking, and a 2nd place in the private car park. It is on the 3rd floor of the residence Morgane in Chamonix town centre, street of the Aiguille du Midi, it is well placed, close to amenities, in a lively neighbourhood the day, but with very little noise in the night area, and not noisy in the bedrooms. The apartment is only steps away from the bus stop to the districts of Chamonix (swimming pool, ice rink, casino, shops, cinema ...) and 5 minutes walk to the bus stop for slopes (280 meters). Guests also have Wifi and a large, clean and temperate cellar for your skis or bikes. Access from the underground parking to the lift.

Chamonix offers a multitude of slopes for all levels, each ski area having its own merit. Tremendously long slopes, skiing through the trees, freeride and off-piste, beginners slopes : an infinite number of possibilities for snowriders and mountain lovers alike.
The Grands Montets (1235 m - 3300 m)
Situated between the altitudes of 1235 m. and 3300 m., the Grands Montets area enables you to ski the greatest height losses in the world in the heart of the mountains, close to a glacier.

Guest Access

You have access to the whole house. You will be greeted on the spot by Sabrina and Guillaume my representatives in Chamonix. I live 1/2 hour drive and I can move in the event that they are not available.

Interaction with Guests

Only Sabrina and Guillaume will be pleased to know you physically when they make upon your arrival. They are also responsible to solve your little problems on the spot. They are available live 10 minutes from your home.

The Neighborhood

You are in a lively day neighborhood with its shops, restaurants and skiers visiting the cable car of Aiguille du Midi. On the sidewalk in front of Morgane, you can enjoy a bakery for fresh bread in the morning, restaurants, Pharmacy, bars. But it's quiet at night as the animation moves to the center. The 2 bedrooms overlook the rear of the building and are very quiet. Sometimes people sleeping on the sofa bed in the lounge hear more noise only closing the curtain. Then it suffices to close the roller shutters for quiet nights.

Getting Around

A procedure for your arrival will be send with a contract with a map of Chamonix, Sabrina's Phone number and her mail.
Usually you contact her 4 days before your arrival for your provisional time of arrival. The you call her 1 hour before your arrival That she can great you in the apartment or outside to help you with the suitcases.
Arriving by train to Chamonix: You are within 300 m of Lyret 1 entrance C. (5 minutes.) Take the rue des Allobroges left out of the station. After 200 meters, go under the railway bridge . The building Lyret 1 appears in front of you. Turn left on 50 meters on the street Helbronner, cross the road at the NEXITY estate agency, pass the Agency on the impasse of Blatière, to 30 meters, through the gate to the parking garage, entrance C Lyret 1 is on your right. Ring the intercom apartment 111 or 110, Sabrina opened to you. 1st floor right out of the elevator.

To go In center Town by foot : Same way from Lyret direction to the train station.

With your car from Geneva Airport, you can cross Geneva if you have time. It can take more than 1 hour to cross Geneva, but it's a very nice Town. Take direction to center Town and after the bridge from Mont Blanc take direction for France by Motorway : Italie, tunnel du Mont Blanc, Chamonix, Turin, Milan. Don't take motorway for Annecy !
The shortest transfer from the airport for France is with the Swiss motorway (01:20~ hour)
Take the direction of France by highway outside the airport. See if your car has the Swiss motorway vignette, otherwise it will buy at customs (find out from the car rental company).

Direction Annemasse, Bonneville, Cluses, Sallanches, Chamonix. Arrived in Chamonix, on the First round point, turn left direction South Chamonix for the CHAMOIS BLANC residence (take avenue de Courmayeur and the residence CHAMOIS BLANC is on your right after the first round point.). For Residence LYRET 1 and MORGANE, still drive until the second round point, and turn left on Helbronner road, after 300 m, you can see NEXITY Agency, turn immediately on left you are Impasse de la Blatière in front of the residence LYRET 1. For residence MORGANE, same road, on Helbronner Road, until River turn left along the river on Sapi road, drive on 200 meters, turn left In HOTEL's MORGANE parking, juste before the bridge.

Chamonix is not a really a ski resort with direct access to slopes. This is a village resort with many domains you can join, with the shuttle bus dedicated to skiers (schedule every 10 minutes). You reach for example THE BREVENT in 5 minutes (closest ) or Les Grands Montets in 20 minutes (farthest)
The skiing in Chamonix is so diverse that there are enjoyable slopes to be found for all levels. With 157kms of on-piste and virtually unlimited off-piste Chamonix is exceptionally popular and is also a year-round mountain town, not just a purpose built ski resort.
All year round the lift system give you access to the high mountain areas around the Mont Blanc, whether for skiing, climbing, hiking, mountain biking or sight-seeing.
Have a look at the resorts below which are great for mostly low-intermediate to advanced skiers.
The Chamonix Valley is considered by many to be the best freeride resort in the world. With its 5 ski resorts (Grands Montets, Les Houches, Le Tour/Balme, La Flegere and Le Brevent) Chamonix Mont-Blanc offers the perfect ski holiday.
Depending on your level of proficiency, consider skiing the breathtakingly beautiful Vallée Blanche, Chamonix's well known ski run of 20km, over glaciers, navigating around and over crevasses and surrounded by some of the most inspiring mountains in the Alps

Skiers and snowboarders come to the Chamonix valley year after year because of its brilliant off-piste skiing potential. Vast glacier systems, wide powder slopes, steep couloirs and tree skiing, with the spectacular backdrop of the Mont Blanc massif is an annual lure.
The high mountains are very accessible here. Chamonix has a highly pragmatic attitude to off piste activity. Every individual is responsible for their own safety. Do not rely on others unless they are qualified and hired for that purpose. Get insured and know how to call upon the emergency services should they be necessary. There are many crevasse and avalanche zones off-piste in the Chamonix valley.
Avalanches are a real threat off piste. Beware of the potential from above and the snow state in the immediate vicinity. Is there a piste below or other skiers off piste? An avalanche transceiver should be switched on and secured under clothing, with quick accessibility. You need to know how to conduct a search using a transceiver. A shovel and probe are also necessary.

Our beginner gentler slopes are great for young children and other beginners. The Chamonix Region is best known for it's thrilling Off Piste skiing action.

Every skier and snowboarder, without exception, was once a beginner too! The biggest secret in Chamonix's vast expanse of skiing is that it has great learner areas. There are a number of ski areas in Chamonix which provides easy slopes for quick progression to intermediate and more advanced terrain.
In the ski areas of Les Planards, Le Tour, Argentiere/Les Grands Montets, Vallorcine, and Chamonix/Brevent, as well as Les Houches there are beginner slopes for all ages. The Teleski de Savoy is an ideal learning area for children - plus it is practically in the centre of Chamonix on the way up to the Brévent cable car.
The ski resorts from Chamonix have plenty to offer. Just come and see for yourself!
Chamonix is the main town of the valley with many shops, bars, restaurants, swimming pool, discothèques, tourism office, picture, festivals...
The Chamonix Valley stretches from Servoz to Barberine on the Swiss border. The main towns (working up the Valley from Servoz) include Les Houches, Les Bossons, Chamonix, Les Praz, Argentiere, Mont Roc / Le Tour and Vallorcine.

Ski areas: Chamonix is not a ski in - ski out purpose built resort, but rather a town which became the world capital of mountaineering and developed into a world re-knowned ski resort. It is actually 5 ski resorts and one famous off piste lift access (the Aiguille du Midi).

The main ski lift areas (working up the Valley) are:
•In Les Houches = Les Houches,
•In Chamonix = Le Brevent and the Aiguille du Midi (off piste only, the Vallee Blanche)
•In Les Praz = La Flégère
•In Argentiere = Les Grands Montets
•In Le Tour/Vallorcine = Le Tour/Balme

Flégère is interconnected with Brévent. Le Tour/Balme is connected by lift to Vallorcine. The snowpark is in Les Grands Montets. There are other smaller beginner lift areas including Les Planards in Chamonix.

House Rules

- Non smoking accommodation except on the balcony.
- Small quiet pets are allowed, but must not stay alone in the apartment. - Respect the neighbors avoiding noise after 22:30.
In case of complaints from neighbours, we can ask you to leave immediately without compensation.
- Park imperatively in designated parking spaces.
- The household is a departure cleaning and not a household cleaning from the week. To facilitate the work of housekeepers, the tenants agree to undo their beds and fold the sheets on the beds, wash and put away the dishes, empty the fridge and empty trash. 2 hours of departure cleaning are included in your invoice.
Due to many abuses a package of 50 €, for every hour started upper to 2 hours included in your cleaning fee will be applied to compensate the housekeepers extra work. It will be deducted from your deposit.
- City taxes are payable locally : €1 x number of nights x number of people over 18 years, payment of the tax entitles you to free ski buses for all ski slope and free shuttle for centre town (The Mulet)
- Late arrival after 20 pm will be the subject of an agreement to collect the keys according to the possibilities or additional payment of € 50 between 20:00 and 22:00 and € 100 from 22:00 to 24:00 h payable on arrival to Sabrina
