I had a wonderful stay at Cristina's place. Cristina is very welcoming and I felt well taken care of.

We had a great stay for nearly one week in Christina's apartment which is well appointed and an easy place to settle into. The apartment is spacious, tastefully furnished and uncluttered for a family home. Well situated in down town Torino, it was an easy walk to restaurants, markets, shopping and all the major sights on offer. Christiina was a welcoming and efficient host, with smoothly handled arrangements from beginning to end. We'd recommend others to stay if they like us have the pleasure to visit Turin.

Four of us stayed at Cristina's Penthouse in Torino in November of 2010. We were able to rent the entire apartment and by the end of our stay did not want to leave. We were greeted by Cristina's housekeeper (Cristina was traveling - which is why the entire apartment was available) who let us in and showed us how things worked. We immediately felt at home. The penthouse is gorgeous and exactly as shown in the pictures. It's very airy and open with skylights throughout. The two bathrooms (one big / one small) were clean and recently remodeled (very modern). The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. I don't know about the beds in the kids room since I didn't sleep there, but I was told the others slept well. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. There was also a washer/dryer we could use. Cristina left us with maps and tons of guides to Torino, including a list of top things to do in the city which helped tremendously. The penthouse is located near old, charming streets. We wandered around there for hours. It's also right next to a pedestrian shopping avenue (Garibaldi) and a nice walk away from the rest of the center of Torino. Venture north for just a few minutes and you'll find an incredible food market with anything you could possibly want (fruits, meats, prepared foods, vegetables, clothes, household items, etc.) Our breakfast consisted of fresh bread and meat we bought as we walked through it. If you are staying on a Saturday you can visit the Balon (an open-air flea market) which is a short walk past the food market. The area is more gritty, but we still felt safe and enjoyed seeing a part of multi-ethnic Torino that most tourists never see. There is a small supermarket near the apartment as well, and plenty of cafes and restaurants if you don't feel like cooking (Try to make it to Santa Polenta, it's very cool). Cristina was very responsive to questions and emails, very gracious and easy to work with. As I said, we didn't want to leave at the end of our stay and hope to be back again soon for longer.

Cristina has a beautiful apartment in the wonderful city Turin (Ticino). This is now my new favourite city and Cristina's apartment made our visit even better. It is centrally located and there is so many fantastic things to do in this city. Cristina also had many wonderful recommendations. It is beautiful clean & spacious and she is a very unobtrusive host. This was our first time staying in someone's home from Airbnb with them present so I must admit we were a little nervous. But our weekend was fantastic. Thank you so much Cristina and we hope to see you again soon!
