We invite outdoor enthusiasts & nature lovers who care about their comfort, standards and luxury to experience CAREFREE HAMMOCK CAMPING at a peaceful private retreat. Bring yourself, food & personal items, we'll take care of the rest: waterproof hanging tents, firewood, sleeping bags, pillows, sheets, towels, toiletries, coffee, pots&pans, utensils, chairs, table, games, s'mores, private AC bath with hot shower. Cheap accommodation hunters please look elsewhere, we aren't a good fit for you.

The space
*READING THE ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE CONTACTING US OR BOOKING IS A MUST* This is essential to ensuring your stay meets your expectations and shows you are a considerate guest suited for an Airbnb home.

FOUR comfortable hammock tents (ONE PERSON PER HAMMOCK) swinging between the trees, completely surrounded with vegetation forming a secluded pocket of privacy on 16 acres of wooded property. This unique hammping spot is outfitted with high-end equipment: waterproof covered hammocks, lounging hammocks, sleeping bags with Gore-tex covers and cotton liners, self-inflating mattresses, pillows, blankets, camping chairs, fire pit with cooking grill, camping kitchenware, towels, LED lamps, bug repellent, hot water bottles (in early spring, fall and winter), free firewood, books, games, rain ponchos, candles, safe & dry storage for your belongings and so much more.

Bathroom, running water, a nook with microwave, coffee maker, electric tea pot and items for a light breakfast are available in the nearest building (60 yards).

Our house is on the property, as well as other buildings, but the hammpground is secluded so guests will have the run of their place without worrying about disturbing or being disturbed.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to use the glider by our garden to catch Wi-Fi, though the property is covered by 4g. They are also welcome to utilize a fridge/freezer in the laundry room, and in case of less pleasant weather the sun-room, all in the building adjoining their bathhouse.

We also offer additional services such as hot tub access, fitness and spa, (European standards apply), professional massages, instructional courses, intimate wedding services, vow renewal, etc... all for additional fees. These services are offered for the comfort and convenience of our guests, who are under no obligation to partake.

Other things to note
The hammpground is in use all year but bear in mind that temperature appropriate clothing is required. Don't show up in winter wearing shorts and expect to be comfortable. Long underwear, caps, gloves and warm jackets are mandatory.

To insure no one ever goes hungry, we offer meal services, too. The meals we provide on request are not exactly cheap (as the price covers visiting various local farms, fetching organic ingredients, carefully preparing food and serving it warm to the doorstep or bed of the tipi, at any time you like). But we promise our meals won't only fill the stomachs, without exception people remember them as some of their best dining experiences ever.

Our place is quiet, and we like to keep it that way. Lots of birds and animals. The property offers walking trails you are welcome to use. Along the way you'll find a table & chairs for a romantic picnic, resting benches, gliders, meditation spots, swings, a little library and other relaxing surprises.

Most guests visit us to enjoy peace and solitude, and to explore nature. Many state parks, historic sites and a broad range of great outdoor activities are all perched nearby.

The closest store is 1 mile away, on the main road, and recommended restaurants are 10-15 miles away (see the Guidebook and the map at the bottom of this page).
