It was a pleasure to stay in Alice's property. The size was more than enough for 2 people, and the location is primo. We stayed 5 nights, and had a blast! Alice was also very responsive and easy to work with. Thank you!
Tutto come da descrizione, davvero ottima posizione per visitare Roma, a due passi da Campo dei fiori.
Alice's apartment was the same of its pictures. Clean, tidy and with full equipment in the kitchen. Location was great and close to all major attractions. Internet was centralized in the building, unfortunately we could not get any signal in the room, only very weak signal can received in front of the bedroom windows.
Thank you Alice for giving us opportunity to stay at your apartment! We enjoyed it a lot.We didn't meet Alice in person, but her husband met us at the agreed time and let us in. He speaks some English, but I didn't have problem understanding and communicating with him.
Apartment located a few steps from Campo de' fiori, which is very colorful and fun with its little shops, market and restaurants. Trastevere is also walking distance and has tons of bars and restaurants.
Apartment itself is much nicer then it appears in the (website hidden)'s been recently renovated. It has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Alice and her husband left eggs and water in the fridge for us, which is very nice and made us feel welcomed. They also
have toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoos , soap and body-wash in the bathroom for their guests, which is so lovely. The bathroom is very roomy and also has a washer. And , I know for girls and maybe for some boys it's important, they have a blowdryer .
Windows from living area go into lovely courtyard. It's quiet. We felt safe there.
Sometimes the fuse gets blown , so you have to flip the master fuse , which is in the fuse box next to the entrance door.
I recommend to stay at their apartment and would stay there again. :)))
My husband and I loved Alice's house. The photos don't do it justice! It is roomy for 2 people - even more if needed. The sofa bed which we were hesitant about at first was very comfortable and Alice (email hidden)e apartment has been newly renovated. When we arrived the kitchen was stocked with basic food items including fruit and eggs. The bathroom was also stocked with toothbrushes, toothpaste etc... There is a supermarket just around the corner for anything else. The location is perfect also! It is a few streets away from the Campo di fiori piazza where you can find restaurants, bakery and deli. We walked to all main attractions which was very handy (St Peters was the longest walk at about 30-35min). Alice's brother Simone picked us up from the airport for 50 euro and we asked him to drop us off for our departure. Reasonably priced and very convenient to be picked up and dropped off at the door. I can't speak highly enough of staying here, well worth it and Alice and Simone are wonderful hosts!
Our stay in Alice's apartment was perfect - just like our whole stay in Rome!
When we arrived (very late!), a friend of Alice picked us up at the airport and drove us to her apartment, where Alice waited for us to show us around the flat. The flat had been renovated beautifully and was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped (Alice even left coffee and something to drink) and we were able to cook everything we wanted. The bathroom was completely new and therefore really nice and clean.
But the best thing about the apartment was its fabulous location!
We walked about 1 minute to the Campo de fiori, 5 minutes to the Piazza Navona and about 8-10 Minutes to the Pantheon! Even the Vatican was reachable in about 30-40 minutes. I espacially recommend the nighlife around the Campo de fiori and the Piazza Navona, which is no that touristic and therefore very interesting and fun! The "Romans" are very open-hearted and nice to meet! ;)
All in all we had great six days in Rome, a great apartment (email hidden)! Thank you Alice, we will come again! :D
