About this listing
A lovely apartment with all mod cons, at 10-minute walk from Termini Station, well linked with the airports and the rest of the city! In a lively and fun district, for a Roman holiday, romantic and out of the pre-tourist routes.
The apartment is located in a typical building of the early twentieth century, in the popular district of San Lorenzo, in the heart of Rome. The apartment is very comfortable and it consists of a spacious living room and fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms at night (one is occupied by me) and a bathroom with tub / shower. Often during the weekend the apartment is empty. in the room, there is also a comfortable sofa bed, so for little money the apartment can accommodate up to 4 people. Accessories included: TV 50 ", heating, air conditioning, internet, washing machine, dryer, iron. Maid and linen change 1 time per week.
My guests, after having taken the keys, can come and go as they wish and use all the amenities of the apartment.
Wifi, TV, kitchen (microwave, fridge), washing machine, hairdryer and safe-box...
Needless to say, you just have to be careful not to disturb the neighbors, myself, to safeguard the security of the home and household appliances.
Regarding the use of air conditioning ask the courtesy to turn it off when you leave the apartment …
Interaction with Guests
Regarding the interaction with the guests, I tend to be very available, at the same time are very attentive to privacy! They are almost always present at the arrival of the guests and available to receive them at any time.
At first I do a short tour of the apartment explaining everything and then are willing to help or suggest when prompted.
The neighborhood is particularly characterized by craft shops and art studios, in the evening it becomes a vibrant center for nightlife. San Lorenzo is in fact one of the centers of attraction of the "movida"and as all the districts frequented is absolutely safe!. There are dozens of pizzerias, bars, Pubs, clubs with live music, restaurants and bars for all tastes and prices! Less than 100 meters from my front door there are 3 large supermarkets and various small supermarket open till late night.
From the apartment is within walking distance of the Colosseum, the Basilica of San Giovanni, Santa Maria Maggiore and many of the major tourist attractions of the city. The apartment is easily accessible by two main railway stations: Termini and Tiburtina, is conveniently connected by bus and metro to the airport (via shuttle bus or train), and the rest of the city.
I have added a map in my photo to see the location.
From Fiumicino I know there are train and fast train, or several shuttles to get to the Termini railway station. (Preferably the train! The cheapest is the shuttle!).
From Ciampino there are lots of shuttles.
The Easiest way to get to my house is walking distance from the Termini station.
It will take 10 -15 minutes
the shortest route is to do not get out of the station but to follow the first track to the end .... at the end there is a gate beyond Which Already you are in my neighborhood San Lorenzo !
Of course if you have much luggage and do not want/can to walk , take a taxi.
In my home you should feel at home and live as in yours! I will give you the key of the apartment and you can come and go and use all the facilities (kitchen, fridge, Wi-Fi, washing machine) whenever you want.
When I say "as in yours" I mean, really as you do at your home. Unfortunately not everyone has a clear idea that travel with airbnb, it is not like going to the hotel! My house is not a hotel, you are my welcome guests, but I expect a little respect. Do not leave the lights on all over the house for the duration of the night, don't leave the house with the air conditioners on, does not reduce the bathroom sucks ... well, things that you wouldn't do at home, try not do it at my house.
Other three things:
The first is that If I go out of town, to feel comfortable when I leave the apartment for a guest, I usually ask to see an identity document or passport.
The second is that because I am a Buddhist, sometimes I'm used to chant "Nam myoho renge kyo". I will do it as quietly as possible, and I will try to do it away from home but every Wednesday evening from 19:00 to 20:30 in the lounge/kitchen will come some fellow believers and will chant together (our meditation). Meanwhile you'll be alowed to do what ever you want in the house except for the lounge/kitchen....or if you want you can join the meeting!
Third, I don't prepare breakfasts!
If we wake up together I will happily offer you a coffee!
