Visited Fabiana's apartments from 5 to 9 March. Apartments are very convenient location on the interest places of Rome. The Vatican Museum 5 minutes bay walk fa from apartments. There are a pizzeria, supermarket, bar near. Fabian is very friendly and interesting hostess. The only lack of apartment it's a bad noise isolation, but after a long day not really pay attention to it. Thank you.
Fabiana is super nice, super reactive and quickly make you feel at home in Casacoco, a very cosy, clean and elegant appartment 15 mn away from Vatican and 5 mn away from the metro; perfect location!
Ok, not as soundproof as it could be but it s a detail because the street is not that animated! Plus Fabiana provided us earplugs hehey!
The good: Fabiana is very nice, she took her time to show us the apartment and made a book with suggestions of places to shop, to go and pretty much mapped everything near the apartment. The location was good too if your desire is to stay near the Vatican, you just need to walk a couple of minutes and you'll be inside Daint Peter's Square. The decoration of the place is very nice too, you can tell there's a lot of effort put in it.
The bad: The place was really noisy, not just because you can hear the cars and people going down the street (as the apartment is ground level), but because you can hear the entrance door opening and closing all night and the loud people coming in and out the building (the apartment is right next to the main building door). Though Fabiana nicely left us some earplugs to cope with the noise, thay became more neccesary than comfortable for a good rest. Beside the noise, when we arrived, the place wasn't very clean, the bathroom floor was sticky, as well as the dishes, which wasn't very pleasant.
Dear Valentina I'm sorry that you have had a problem with noise ,and it is for people sensitive to noise as you that I leave in the flat the earplugs, for dishes I have telly when you are arrived in my home that usually the guests before you wash the dishes the glasses and the pots and is it just for that's that i leave the soap and suggest to guest wash all before the use and it's and that's what I said you as soon as you arrived ,however always gladly accept negative opinions of guests to improve service.
Fabiana was great at helping us with directions to her place and quickly arrived with the keys. A cute breakfast basket was waiting for us, and she even went out to buy us fresh milk and yoghurt. Was flexible with us cheking out. Great location to the Vatican. I recommend her and her place to everyone.
Fabiana's place was clean, well decorated and had all of the amenities one could need. The location was also great as it was within 5 minutes walking distance to the Vatican and to the metro which was very convenient. There is also an amazing bakery and gelateria nearby.
Fabiana was a great host and was very quick to respond to any messages that we sent. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for nice, affordable place to stay in Rome.
Very neat and clean flat in a relatively quiet neighborhood, 5 minute walk to the Vatican. Fabiana was a perfect host, we actually locked ourselves outside, gave her a call, and she showed up quick to open the doors - very helpful!!!
BTW, if you decide to stay at Casacoco, there is a pasticcheria on Via Barletta called Cornetti close that is OUT OF THIS WORLD!
Fabiana's flat was great. The apartment is 2 blocks from the metro which was very reassuring, because we got there at night. Once we got out of the airport, we took a shuttle to the metro for 1 euro more then the train. The Leonardo express train to Termini is 14 euro either way gets you to the metro.. The company stands by the train service counter and sells you the service for the shuttle. It was worth it being in Europe for the first time. When we arrived at the metro, we jumped on the A train toward Battistini. in a few stops you get off and come onto the street. The apartment is two blocks away in a quiet area. (Detailed directions are given by the host to get you to the apartment) We had tickets to see the Vatican the next morning at 7:30am. The apartment is 4 blocks from the Vatican. That was awesome to be able to quickly crash for a siesta after the Vatican tour. We were also able to see the Pope in St. Peter's square on Wednesday without stressing the travel because it was only 2 blocks passed the Vatican. The flat is clean, nicely decorated. the winding stairway to the top bedroom is narrow though. Fabiana provides free Wi-fi, maps to help and answers what ever questions needed to help. A light breakfast is provided the next morning for guests. The flat is on the other side of the Tiber River, but the metro was so close that no matter where we went, we always ended up two blocks from the flat when we came back at night. I enjoyed my stay there and would stay again. Fabiana was always reachable for any issues. She was wonderful. Here is a tip for anyone traveling. BE AWARE OF THE GYPSY PICKPOCKETS. A women and her three little bad ass kids were working together to Pickpocket us when we were at the kiosk trying to get a metro card. I released the Jersey wrath on them and they were thrown out by the police. We were also targeted in the train stations three times at a kiosk for tickets so don't let them help you
