Come and go as you please! If you can help us keep this beautiful place clean we'd appreciate it, so kindly take off your shoes in the entry, put your dishes in the dishwasher and try not to paint our fresh light colored carpet with red wine - it does not like red wine! :)
Jim made us feel genuinely welcome to his home. There were fresh flowers waiting on us and the kitchen had anything you could possibly need. The bed was comfy, and the home was beautiful. Don't miss a chance to stay in this historic house. Lots of history here.
Jim made all of the booking so simple. He always got back to me in a timely manner. I booked his AirBnB for some employees going on a business trip to Denver. They loved their stay there!
"In The Clouds" was wonderful! This was my first airbnb experience and I definitely see the value of the experience and the difference of exposure to more local life than a hotel.
The pictures of the space definitely matched what we experienced. You definitely feel like you have your own place separate from the beautiful main home. The location is was great (make sure to read all of Jim's suggestions for local coffee shops/restaurants!)and we were able to walk/rent b-cycles most of the days.
Unfortunately, Jim was out of the country traveling while we stayed so we were unable to meet him. We did have a few issues with the state of the penthouse when we first arrived but he was extremely apologetic and made time to call us from France to make sure everything else was ok and that we had everything we needed.
I would definitely stay here again!
James was a fantastic host. He made sure everything was perfect for our stay, even bringing us a bottle of wine!
I felt safe and comfortable at "In the Clouds." It is in a lovely neighborhood, not far from a lot of amenities. I stayed there while attending a conference at the Colorado Convention Center. It was about a 25 minute walk or a quick $4.50 Uber (since it rained the whole time I was there!) to the convention center.
It was wonderful! The penthouse was well stocked and has a really neat layout. Jim made accessing the penthouse and parking very convenient. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Denver!
Had a wonderful experience "in the clouds"
This two bedroom apartments was the perfect place for our group of two couples. It was so great to have a living room to congregate in, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The space was clean and inviting. Slanted ceilings in the bedrooms might pose a problem for taller guests, but we didn’t have any issues.
The location is very accessible to Downtown, Capitol Hill, and the RiNo district. We were able to walk most places or take a SmartCar or Uber instead of renting a car. Having a grocery store one block away was super convenient. We went twice during our weeklong trip!
Jim was very accommodating to our needs and very accessible. He responds almost immediately if you have questions or need advice.
I will be recommending this place to family and friends!

About the Host, James
Hi folks, I am an early adopter of "airbnb". I have not used it for travel as much as I would like but have been hosting and enjoying it since summer, 2011. My active life style includes being a ski instructor in Vail, tennis, sailing when I make the time, motorcycle travel (having done of lot of solo stuff in Mexico), etc. Intellectually curious and I like keeping up with global happenings. Travel style? Casual, low maintenance and self sufficient, enjoy the local color, been half way around the planet. Have owned my own company for over three decades being involved in urban redevelopment and historic restoration. Cheers!
