Check in times will vary depending upon my work schedule. If I have the day off, guests are welcome to check in anytime in the afternoon or possibly sooner if they ask me ahead of time. If I am working (my work schedule varies from week to week, so it's hard to determine if I will be working on a particular day or not) then check in will be before 9am and after 7pm, unless I can arrange to have a friend let you into the apartment. Please let me know as soon as you can as to the time you would like to check in during your stay and I will do everything I can to accommodate you.

If I have a new set of guests coming in the day that you are scheduled to check out, I ask that you be out of the bedroom by 9am. You're welcome to leave luggage in the apartment, however, but I need access to the bedroom to change sheets and clean. If there are no guests coming in that day then you're welcome to stay as long as you need.

We look forward to meeting you!

  • We had a great stay at Gina`s and John`s apartment. Boo is the nicest dog in the world, everything was clean, the room was big enough, even for the 2 of us, and Gina and John always made sure that everything was alright. The Prospect Park right around the corner is just awesome. If you have any questions never mind asking them. We`d like to come back sometime!

  • Our travel to NYC was amazing and being in this beautiful apartment was the best decision ever we made. Gina, John & Boo are great hosts! We felt like home. They are very friendly, communicatives and you can (email hidden) talk with them. If you don't have plans for getting around ask John, he would fix it!
The apartment was located in a nice neighborhood (secure, many stores open until late at night) very close to the magnificent Prospect Park (designed by the same guys who made Central Park) and Train station (where you can take the Q to everywhere and get Manhattan in 30 minutes).
The apartment is perfect and the room it was flawless for us. You have access to the kitchen, a confortable living room, two bathrooms, bikes, fast wireless internet, books and Boo's belly! (Boo is the most adorable dog over the earth).
We spent two weeks and we would come back again for sure. I would recommend this place with no doubt, thank you guys

  • I spent 9 nights at Gina and John's house and was very well pleased. My room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Great hospitality. Great location: a block and a half from the subway and Prospect park. Plus, they let me ride their bike, which was a big plus for me. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat!!! Thanks again!

  • We had a very nice stay at Gina's house. We were allowed free usage of the living room and that was fun because it was a very cosy room.
The only minor t thing I could say is that our bed which had a mates that was quite hard and that was hard on my bones. Other than that I absolutely cannot find fault them.

  • The room was ok, the Flatbush area was really friendly and had a great sense of community. Gina was friendly but John (Gina's Husband) was the best. He had heaps of advice and suggestions etc for NY.

  • Stayed a few days with Gina and John. John helped us get around and pick places to eat. Very accommodating and great sized room. I felt safe at night walking around the neighborhood and had a place to park my car the whole time. Quick walk to the subway too. I would stay here again. Both were very lovely and helpful.

Hello! We are Gina & John and Boo, the wonderdog. I, Gina, am a Massage Therapist, Colon Hydrotherapist and Yoga Teacher (ExhaleHealingArts), John (email hidden) and native NYer and loves to send our guests on crazy sightseeing adventures all over the city. We commute to work via the handmade Bamboo Bicycles we built. We are active--swimming, rockclimbing, traveling, hiking, you name it! We moved NYC after living in Rincon, Puerto Rico (10 yrs!) where we surfed, worked and built an Earthdome on our 5-acre property. Yes, we miss it! Boo is our slinky, wiggly-waggly, rub my belly best friend.
