Great and clean place! Booked a list minute reservation and Gina was very helpful and accommodating, though I did not get to meet her in person.
We had a wonderful experience at Gina's place. The house was very well kept and exactly as shown in the pictures. The neighborhood is great with easy access to commute. Met Gina once, she is a lovely person, super friendly and warm. Really enjoyed my stay here, would surely airbnb here again. Thank you Gina
I stayed at Gina's for a couple of months over the summer and thought it was a great place; spacious common area, A/C in bedroom and Gina is a very nice host. It's only a few minutes walk from the Q.
Johns place was awesome. My best long term stay on airbnb! Johns place was just as described. John was super friendly and really accommodating, and always willing to help and give suggestions of the best places in the area. He even took me and the other two room mates for a memorable night on the town. A house filled with great people, with some really great conversation. Awesome stay
My brother and I stayed for a few weeks while sightseeing New York. The neighborhood is a bit into the meat of Brooklyn but Q is within 3-5 mins and 2/3 line is within 7 mins, making it an easy trip to anywhere in Manhattan (30 mins to union square). But what we liked the most about the stay was that it felt like we were staying at a friend's house for vacation -- we frequently had lively discussions about a wide range of topics in late into the night in the common area. A total of three rooms share two bathrooms but this was never an issue, and the place is well maintained in general.
* Miyoung: Hi, John! Thanks again for the stay, we miss it already! Hope you are planning another exciting bike trip :)
* Taeyoung: Not just as a guest, but as a friend, I had a great time. Next time when I am back (and I am getting there, you know!), be prepared for our next ping pong match. I'll hit you up when in New York, thanks so much for the experience and memory.
Was great staying with John! We didn't met Gina, she was traveling. But our experience was great! The house is really prepared for guests, and it's really comfortable. It was our first experience and we are very happy with it! John always was helpful with tips and suggestions for places to go, don't hesitate to ask him, he's always glad to help his guests.
My boyfriend and I stayed in Gina and John's place for four nights before Christmas and we both enjoyed this experience very much! The house is very convenient - 2 min walk to Q train which takes you almost everywhere (with the 24hour subway in NYC, what is the difference from living in Manhattan?!). The room is warm, clean, comfy, very decent size for two people. You never have to wait to use the bathroom - almost feel like a private bathroom; and the host provide all kinds of hygiene products you may need. The host is very welcoming and easy going. We didn't talk very much but they gave the instructions and tips very clearly. I would definitely recommend this place!

About the Host, Gina
I am a Massage Therapist, Colon Hydrotherapist and Yoga Teacher (ExhaleHealingArts). I commute to work via the handmade Bamboo Bicycle I built. I am active--swimming, traveling, hiking, music, you name it! I moved to NYC after living in Rincon, Puerto Rico (10 yrs!) where I surfed, worked and built an Earthdome on my 5-acre property. I now split my time between the two places :)
Look forward to meeting you :)
