  • We had a very pleasant, sunny stay at Erica and Leslie's. The room was comfortable and clean, and our hosts were friendly and good communicators- they even shared with us delicious strawberries from their garden. We would not hesitate to come back to this lovely spot in Brattleboro!

I am so sorry to have to cancel. There have been recent unexpected changes
in my household and the room is not available during these dates due to
reorganization and maintenance. I apologize for the inconvenience and hope
I never have to cancel again!

  • Erica was a very gracious and thoughtful host. We enjoyed staying at her home in Brattleboro!

  • Nothing but good things to say about this very lovely house in a very lovely town. Just a short walk from scenic trails and a nice stroll into town or the farmer's market. In all our interactions Erica was extremely pleasant. We already miss the dogs, too - loads of personality!

Oh, and reliably fast wifi. Definitely worth the visit, and highly recommended.

  • I had the opportunity to stay in this cozy little home for three nights. The bed was very comfortable and the neighborhood was very sweet. It was a delight to see a host dedicated to reducing her carbon footprint with serious recycling available. If you would like a quiet place to stay which is affordable, I would recommend this little house you share with the host. I did not really get a chance to meet Erica for more than a couple of minutes so I don't really know anything about her but she has a sweet home.

  • I had a great stay in Erica's lovely home. A comfortable bed, spacious room and impeccably clean. Brattleboro is lovely town and I am now inspired to start composting when I get home after trying it out at Erica's! Thanks very much.

  • We stayed at Ericas place for 3 nights and had a wonderful time there. We did not meet Erica, but her house is a very cozy and friendly place, all clean and comfortable. Brattleboro is a very interesting place as well, it seems that very liberal, open minded People are living there. We liked it all a lot.
Thank you, Erica for your trust and for sharing your home with us,
    Susanne and Ingo

  • Erica's home was perfect for my quick, one-day exploration of Brattleboro. With the spacious room, Erica's friendly and helpful host presence, the area's beauty and, of course, her adorable dog, my only complaint is that I couldn't stay longer! Everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the wireless was quick and her sensibility for the environment (recycle/compost/etc.) was inspiring. The location was only about a ten to fifteen minute walk from downtown, and the neighborhood was both safe and quiet. Erica even shared some of her garden's bounty with me, so when I returned home from vacation in desperate need of a grocery trip, I was able to have a great salad for lunch at work anyway!

  • Erica has a cute and cozy home with a lovely garden (strawberries in Vermont!) and is a very short walk to the Brattleboro downtown. She was very helpful with all of our questions about the Brattleboro area and we enjoyed talking about farming and travel.

About
I live with my partner in our sweet and cozy home. We are in our mid thirties and love to be outside hiking, biking and exploring. We are a family with a few dogs and a cat, all who make our life very interesting on a regular basis. No kids, just animals (who will sometimes be present during your stay, and sometimes not). When you arrive, you'll find a sweet little home, equipped with a beautiful and private backyard, complete with a hammock, young fruit trees, and a wonderful garden. We grow as much food as we can, eating seasonally and putting away ample amounts for the cooler seasons. I am an elementary school teacher in a small town near Brattleboro. When I am not teaching I play music, knit, play games inside and out, run with my pup, or play in nature. My partner is a gardener. She likes to dig in the dirt and watch things grow. She's an admirer of nature and all things natural. Now that it is the growing season here in Vermont, we spend all or most of our free time in the garden, tending and weeding, watering and planting. What an amazing process! We are happy to help you find things to do in the area, should you need some recommendations. There is so much to do here, both in town and out--come share our space while you explore Southern Vermont and all of its beauty. A wonderful experience awaits!
