Erica and Leslie have a very attractive house in a nice neighborhood. They are very welcoming and the house was neat and clean. The guest room was cozy and quiet. The bed is a futon and while my wife slept well, I was not very comfortable because the mattress sloped into the middle slightly. I admit I have a sensitive back and need a totally level bed. I would suggest our hosts consider replacing the mattress for future guests. They have three dogs and a cat. All were very friendly. To keep the animals off the sofa they had placed electric shock strips. We didn't feel comfortable removing these so didn't sit there. Other furniture in the living room had things on them we presumed to keep the animals off. The vegetable garden is spectacular.
We are a couple, that Stayed at Erica & Leslie's house for one night. The girls were very nice, and so were the dogs.. The house is great, in a quiet area and the room is spacious and feels like home. The only problem we had was with the bed, which had a weird incline to the center - so it wasn't the most comfortable bed we slept in... Thanks a lot girls!
We had a very pleasant, sunny stay at Erica and Leslie's. The room was comfortable and clean, and our hosts were friendly and good communicators- they even shared with us delicious strawberries from their garden. We would not hesitate to come back to this lovely spot in Brattleboro!

Erica was a very gracious and thoughtful host. We enjoyed staying at her home in Brattleboro!
Nothing but good things to say about this very lovely house in a very lovely town. Just a short walk from scenic trails and a nice stroll into town or the farmer's market. In all our interactions Erica was extremely pleasant. We already miss the dogs, too - loads of personality!
Oh, and reliably fast wifi. Definitely worth the visit, and highly recommended.
I had the opportunity to stay in this cozy little home for three nights. The bed was very comfortable and the neighborhood was very sweet. It was a delight to see a host dedicated to reducing her carbon footprint with serious recycling available. If you would like a quiet place to stay which is affordable, I would recommend this little house you share with the host. I did not really get a chance to meet Erica for more than a couple of minutes so I don't really know anything about her but she has a sweet home.
I live with my wife in our sweet and cozy home. We are in our mid thirties and love to be outside hiking, biking and exploring. We are a family with a few dogs and a cat, all who make our life very interesting on a regular basis. No kids, just animals (who will sometimes be present during your stay, and sometimes not).
When you arrive, you'll find a sweet little home, equipped with a beautiful and private backyard, complete with a hammock, young fruit trees, and a wonderful garden. We grow as much food as we can, eating seasonally and putting away ample amounts for the cooler seasons.
I am an elementary school teacher in a small town near Brattleboro. When I am not teaching I play music, knit, play games inside and out, run with my pup, or play in nature.
My wife is a teacher and a farmer. She likes to help show children amazing new things, to dig in the dirt and watch things grow. She's an admirer of nature and all things natural. When the growing season is here in Vermont, we spend all or most of our free time in the garden, tending and weeding, watering and planting. What an amazing process!
We are happy to help you find things to do in the area, should you need some recommendations. There is so much to do here, both in town and out--come share our space while you explore Southern Vermont and all of its beauty. A wonderful experience awaits!
