The space

Licensed with the City of Austin! Four blocks from the convention center! Walk to Downtown Austin, Rainey Street, good eats and great watering holes. Whether you are visiting family or in town for business and/or pleasure, your Austin accommodations have never been so convenient and comfortable.

This home features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, 1,515 square feet and was originally built in 1902. It was completely remodeled in 2009. It was designed to maintain its old world charm while providing modern day amenities. This home is one block east of downtown Austin. It is bright and airy with ten foot ceilings throughout, vaulted ceilings in the master bedroom and many windows for natural lighting. A mere five blocks away from Austin’s famous Sixth Street entertainment district and within walking distance to fine dining, coffee houses and art galleries, it’s easy to say that this home is in a fantastic location. Did we mention that the University of Texas at Austin is a short 1.5 mile jaunt where you can enjoy all of UT’s athletic events? If you are coming to Austin for a convention, you’re in luck! This home is a short five minute walk to the convention center.

Take in a view of the downtown skyline from the living, dining, kitchen or back porch, enjoy the private back yard equipped with a bar on the back covered deck or take a bike ride, walk or short taxi ride to all the fun that Austin offers on a daily basis. There are so many amazing restaurants in our little neighborhood that you will not go hungry or thirty. Fabulous coffee, wine, beer, pizza and other yummy food awaits you! However you decide to spend your time in Austin, the charm of the home and special location will guarantee a fabulous experience.

The home is located in an eclectic neighborhood. This area immediately east of downtown Austin is home to many local artists, musicians, unique establishments and renovation projects. There is a church across the street and many long time residents on the block. All the neighbors are wonderful and friendly. If you are looking for a “Leave It to Beaver” neighborhood, this may not be for you. If you are noise sensitive, you should know that this house is just half a block from I35. From the master bedroom, you will hear the traffic at a low level. Bring your ear plugs if that might bother you! If you are looking for an enchanting dwelling with close proximity to everything Austin has to offer, this is definitely the place!

(URL HIDDEN) DEPOSIT- A damage/reservation deposit of $100. This must be received at the time of booking the reservation. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully
refundable within five (5) days of departure, provided the following provisions

No damage is done to home or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
b.All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in outside trash bin, and soiled
dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned.
c.All keys are returned to combo box.
d.All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
No linens are lost or damaged.
No early check-in or late check-out without permission.
g.The renter is not evicted by the owner or the local law enforcement
5.MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests for this home is limited to four (4) persons.
6.INCLUSIVE FEES - Rates include a one-time linen-towel setup.
NO DAILY MAID SERVICE - While linens and bath towels are included in the home, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate however is available at an additional rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the home.
8.RATE CHANGES - Rates subject to change without notice.
9.FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS - Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental
money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in.
10.WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS - Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
11.ADDITIONAL GUESTS – No additional guests without permission of owner. If approved, there would be an additional charge of $25 per guest.
12.GATHERINGS – Gatherings of more than 8 people are not permitted.
13.NEIGHBOR COMPLAINTS – After one complaint from a neighbor, guests will be given a warning. The second complaint will require you to vacate the property. Any complaint involving a 911 call will require you to vacate the property. No refunds will be given.

AMAZING! This house is much bigger than the photos appear. We were 4 people and extremely comfortable in this big CLEAN house. The beds were SO comfy and the bathrooms were very large. Master bathroom has an amazing RAIN SHOWER! Enjoying our morning coffee on the font/back porch was the perfect start to our mornings. The property is located VERY close to downtown and rainey street and a $6 Uber to S Congress. This neighborhood is the trendy hotspot right now and hosts so many cute restaurants and bars. Communication was amazing and the house was so charming. Big and CLEAN perfect for a group. The bedroom in the master bedroom is very big and so comfortable. Most uber rides were $6-10 to local restaurants.

The house is wonderful! Lovely, big kitchen, very well-equipped; the beds are comfy, and so are the bathrooms. Since our daughter was moving to Austin, we were especially grateful for the washer and dryer!

Very clean, open-floorplan house within walking distance to many of Austin's top attractions. Particular highlights are the spacious back yard, large bedrooms, and luxury bathrooms. Would likely be my top choice should I return to Austin in the future.

Cristina's house is great; the pictures don't do it justice. Located only a few blocks from Rainey in a cool neighborhood. Lots to do in the area. If you stay here you won't be disappointed.

We had a great experience with Cristian and her agent Brooke. Clear, prompt and regular communication. Cristina's house was fantastic value. We would have paid more than double to stay at a hotel in downtown Austin, and yet Cristina's house had a charm and comfort that no hotel could have provided. A lovely place, with 1st class facilities. We were 10 minutes walk from the Austin Convention Centre - perfect! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Austin.

I am an El Paso native and John is from Sheboygan, WI! We have lived in Central East Austin for about six years. We enjoy our neighborhood and want you to experience everything Austin has to offer from great restaurants and entertainment to SXSW, ACL, X Games and Formula 1. Our dog Azore loves guests and will often greet them with barks followed by licks.

Our favorite thing to do on a Sunday morning is to walk the dog on the hike and bike trail, stop at the Rowing Center to enjoy the view of the lake, then have breakfast at Jo's Coffee on West 2nd Street and walk back home through downtown. Cenote, which is just three blocks away is our neighborhood staple. It's great for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers a nice beer and wine list. If you are up for a walk, head over to East End Wines, order a bottle of wine and dine from the trailer in the parking lot - Three Little Pigs. It's one of my favorite outings.
