Other Things to Note
Our breakfast is vegetarian with vegan & gluten free options...let us know your allergies in advance.
Distances are greater than you think here and roads are narrow..the smaller car works best!
we prefer arrivals to be before 9pm and we are happy to serve a later dinner if we are informed in advance.
in summer there is long light and in winter the country roads can be very dark already at 5pm so allow time to arrive safely. We are a destination well worth lingering at and enjoying the food, books and gardens...so relax this is your holiday!
non smoking throughout although there are dedicated areas in the garden.
Our stay at Lorna's place was brief but very memorable. Lorna is incredibly thoughtful. We were greeted with a warm pot of tea upon arrival and ate a delicious breakfast in the morning. You'll feel right at home staying with her!
Lorna's home and restaurant were a lovely place to come home to after a day of exploring. The spread Lorna put out for breakfast was delicious and it was lovely to enjoy it outside in the sun. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the ring of Kerry.
We stayed at the Phoenix while visiting Dingle & the west coast ! We loved it so much, such an experience! We originally planned staying one night and ended up staying two! Great location for exploring Dingle& Kerry. Amazing amazing food, so great-hopefully we can recreate our dinner w/ Lorna's cookbook! Also, the design is amazing. Loved our time at the Phoenix, thank you so much!!
This quirky and enjoyable accommodation is very close to the Dingle peninsula. We enjoyed our stay there even though we were only there for one night. It was one of the best sleeps we've had in our holiday travels. We took advantage of an early bird dinner meal in the Phoenix restaurant and had a sumptuous breakfast in the morning in the same location. Lorna was an exceptional host and we appreciated the time she took to ensure everything was gluten free. Thank you Lorna for a great stay!
Lorna'a B&B is perfect to explore the Dingle and Kerry peninsulas. The place is actually more than a B&B. It has a great vegeterian restaurant (a welcome change to fish and chips !) and the come-and-go atmosphere with the community evolving around the place makes you feel at ease immediatly. Last but not least, kids loved the garden ! A perfect treat.
