The buliding is situated in the old centre of Pera with its art galleries and small traditional bars and restaurants. The flat is in Sadri alışık Sk just one minute from Istiklal Street, the main shopping and pedestrian avenue of Istanbul, and 150 meters from Taksim Square, and close to the old European embassies: the Palais de France, the Palazzo di Venezia, the old Dutch and Russian Embassies and the Greek Consulate.
There is a Metro stop about 100 meters from the house leading very fast to Sultanahmet (the area with Aya Sofya, the Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar).
There is not a specific house rule. I expect my guests to take care of my apartment like their apartment.
Muy buen anfitrión, nos ofreció un servicio de recogida del aeropuerto y nos explicó todo lo que debíamos saber de Estambul a la llegada además de ser muy simpático y agradable.
El piso muy buen situado y en buenas condiciones.
Appartment very quiet located so near the shoppings street. And Nico welcome us and explain us good tips about Istanbul
My friends and I stay at Nico's apartment for five days. It's simply perfect for the five of us. Nico is such a great host. The rooms are clean and cosy. And the location of the apartment is just excellent. It's close to everything you will need, restaurants, shops, supermarkets. Strongly recommended!
Everything good, we enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect to us. Thankyou Ahmet and Nico!
This is a decent place to spend a few days exploring Istanbul, and Ahmet was very welcoming! The flat is conveniently located, next to Istiklal Caddesi, which is full of bars and shops. As the area is up on a hill, stretch your legs and be prepared to walk up and down to get to the metro / tramway.
The flat fits 7 people but you'll probably be more comfortable if you're only 5 or 6.
We stayed 3 nights at this place and we really recommend it !
Good location (in the street you can try Lades Manemen), Ahmet gave us a transport card which was really useful. Do not worry about the water, they gave us a big bottle ! Which was really nice.
There is everthing you need in the flat, even more: ombrella, hairdryer, iron..
Thanks a lot for everything :)
Flo & her friends
Nico is a very kind guy and helped us with everything we needed. The flat is very nice, even though the building doesn't seem so from outside. The location is one of the best in Istanbul! It's located in the very center of the city but thanks to windows on the back not loud or anything at all. It's not too big but has two bedrooms and a cosy living room. We definitely can recommend this flat for your next stay in Istanbul!

I am Nico and I am italian.
I live in this wonderful town since 2011
I love this amazing town from my first visit and i falled in love with at first sight so this is why I decided to move here.
I m renting flats with my turkish work partner Ahmet and I really love my job because I have the chance to meet people coming from all over the world and sometimes I like to drink a cup of tea with my guests and talking about our countries and many other subjects, in this way it is like I can travel all around the world staying here in Istanbul....without moving,
I am also a traveller and as I can I like to book a last minute flight discovering new countries
I like swiming, reading, listening music and watching documentaries is one of my favourite things.
I love animals...I love my dog Thelma and I miss her because she is in Italy with my mother, but I m sure she is better with my mum than with me, because my mother is cooking for her fresh meat every day:)
I m able to talk italian, english, spanish, french and now after 2 years living here I can say that my turkish is not really bad....but still learning :-)
I hope you to be my guest, and I will do my best to let you feel home!
