About This Listing
Hi! You need a place to sleep while you are planning to visit the beautiful city of Montreal? I have what you are looking for! A comfortable and all included bedroom in a big apartment, in which are living myself, my beautiful daughter and our two cats. We love to meet new people and are open-minded people. All is included and the apartment is located near all important services! Between Fabre and Iberville subway stations, a bus stopping in front of our building, 10 minutes from downtown Montreal... You are family to us, so please come and introduce yourselves :) See you soon!
I have three rooms. This one is 45$/night (one guest with possibility of another guest for 10$ extra) and is the first one on the pictures. But you could rent the bigger one with a king size bed (70$/night) for two guests or the child room for 45$/night too. There are multiple options that we can discuss if you are interested! :)
I have stayed at Edith's house for just one night... And I wish I could stay longer. I felt right at home. The room and the neighbourhood was absolutely PERFECT, I recommend it to everyone. Edith will do her best for you to feel comfortable. One last thing.. You are going to fall in love with her daughter, Lovelie, she is adorable :) !! Thank you Edith and Lovelie...
Edith et Lovelie sont deux amours, vous serez très bien reçus et vous ne pourrez pas repartir déçus ! je vous recommande donc chaudement leur logement ^_-.
Edith is an amazing host with her lovely daughter.
The room was clean and she was so helpful to give us extra duvet, blanket and pillow. We had a pretty good range of foods to have for breakfast with very good quality coffees :) She also gave us a bottle of beer, as a gift!
The location was just a few blocks away metro station and was convenient.
I stayed with Edith and her daughter Lovelie for a couple of nights while working in Montreal and loved it! Their home is really clean, bright, and spacious and the room is perfect. The subway station Fabre is only a short walk away. Unfortunately, my schedule was jam-packed, so I didn't have a chance to spend much time with them, but whenever I was around, it was a real pleasure. I'd stay here again!
Edith and her daughter were wonderful! Edith waited up for me to arrive despite my late arrival and when I had a change in plan she was very accommodating. The room was clean and she provided two clean towels and soap. She even had a gift for me as well, which was unexpected and very nice! The next time I am in Montreal, I will stay with Edith again.
Edith and her daughter are incredibly nice and warm, went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was comfortable. The room itself is just as described: quiet, clean, luminous and breezy, also that rocking chair is all kinds of cool. I had access to the kitchen and laundry. The location is close to the metro and Jean-Talon market (amazing place to buy ingredients for a great meal). I had a great time, and highly recommend Edith's place for my fellow travelers.
About the Host, Edith
I am an open-minded person. I am living with my little girl. I am keeping her with me all the time, she is not going to the kindergarten and we like to travel, see friends, eat in good restaurants, dance and listen to all kind of music. Her father is Haitian, I went to Haiti once when I was 19th for three months. I like beaches and meeting new people. I am a translator and I work from home. I have two cats. I would not live without my family and friends, my computer, my car, love of life and certainly chocolate, wine, and all other goodies. In summer, we are going in a lot of festivals. Some of our friends are playing in groups so we get to encourage them. African music, World beat, Hiphop, Popular, Reggae, etc. I think I might be a good host. Your room will be for sure clean and yours. You do whatever you want to, as long as you respect me and my daughter, and our lifestyle.
