In Trastevere, the heart of town, there is this small and cosy room, at 7 floor (lift + one set of stairs) in an ancient building, with small private bathroom next the room door with toilet, sink and shower. Room size is perfect for one person for long stay and single parents with kid (aged over 6 years); it's comfortable as well for easy-going couple or two friends/fellow travelers, but for short stay. Italian breakfast at coffee bar doorstep is included. The terrace (paradise of the home's cat!) is located in the side of apartment where the hosts/owners live, so it is shared with the hosts, not directly accessible from the room-studio, but guests can get the access anytime through the common area. On the terrace guests can spend their time also having a rest on the garden-armchair, reading a book, eating snack, drinking tea, wine and so on, at anytime by themselves or, if they will, with the hosts.
There is also a panoramic terrace of the building with 360° view of the town, accessible to guests if accompanied by the studio's owners: perfect point to take photos!

It's not a B&B but a room-studio in a private apartment. The room-studio is equipped with two single beds (possibility of double bed); a closet; linen at one's disposal; tea and coffee pot; minibar; free WiFi. Room-studio is in a secluded area of the apartment: a sliding door separates it from the rest of the apartment where the hosts live.

Guido and Lisa live in the apartment and make available to the guests - directly in the room - some welcome comforts. They are also happy to provide information about Rome, sharing travel experiences (as the hosts are travelers) have a drink together if the guests feel like sharing time with.

The Trastevere neighborhood is full of life day and night: restaurants, taverns with excellent wines, street entertainment, fine libraries with books in foreign languages, delicious artisan shops. It is also the ideal starting point to reach the magnificent historical attractions of the town: from the apartment you can reach walking just 10 minutes Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, starting point for enjoying the nightlife. Thanks to the very central location of the room-studio, you can quickly reach on foot or by bus, the main attractions of art and history such as: Pantheon, San Pietro in Vaticano, Gianicolo, Piazza Venezia, Fontana di Trevi, Colosseo, Piazza di Spagna, Piazza del Popolo, Via del Corso, Piazza Navona, Teatro Marcello, Ghetto ebraico. Furthermore, you can go shopping in the Porta Portese market, the famous flea market (but... you can't find any more the things of the past!!!) which takes place on Sunday and is two minutes far from the apartment. For those who love to discover unusual places of the city, the nearby Monteverde neighborhood (home to many Italian and foreign actors, directors, writers, musicians) reserves interesting surprises as a beautiful park (Villa Sciarra), with botanical garden, just 10 minutes walking from the apartment. Lisa and Guido's apartment is beautiful and my stay was so enjoyable; what a comfortable and gorgeously decorated home. They were both incredibly accommodating and responsive as I planned my visit and check in, and they left such helpful information for me about the neighborhood (even a free coupon for breakfast around the corner at a local coffee shop!). The neighborhood location was more than ideal; steps away from busses and the tram as well as easily walkable to some great restaurants, bars, and shops. If I am able to return to Rome again and can stay for a longer period of time I would not hesitate to return to Lisa and Guido's apartment.

Lisa and Guido are two of the best hosts I've ever stayed at. They are so kind and helpful with anything you need. The location is perfect in Trastevere near the tram stop and restaurants are nearby. The major attractions are not too far a walk at all once you get off at the Piazza Venezia final tram stop. I loved my stay here... it was awesome.

Great space, excellent hosts that go the extra mile, in a location that is convenient to everything! Easy tram/bus, or walk to all of the major sights. And, after a long day of sightseeing, back to the best neighborhood for dinner at the many wonderful restaurants in a very unique and charming area. I would definitely come back!!

I had a lovely stay with Lisa and Guido! They were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area and very easy to touch base with in person and over the Airbnb app. The location of this listing is perfect for being near to everything you would want to see in Rome while still being far enough away to have some down time in a cool neighborhood. I would happily stay here again!
