  • Nice clean place. We liked that the apartment was not filled with private stuff, but still had water in the fridge and a few items for cooking. But honestly who would cook in Rome. Plenty of nice restaurants in the area. Excellent wi-fi :)

  • Just awesome!!! The flat is amazing also is really well positioned and has the best ice cream store of Rome just in the corner, Alessandro was really kind and provide us a very cool guide of Rome with nice places.

  • Alex's apartment is top notch! Eventhough I forgot to email him about our delayed arrival time, he still made the extra effort to check on us and make sure we don't stay outside the apartment than what is needed. Bed is comfortable, kitchen has enough amenities, and location can't be beat! Everything was well within walking distance. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. If you're staying in Rome, this is the place to be!

  • I stayed at this place in late March 2014. It is located close to everything and is very well-maintained. The apartment is very trendy and comfortable. I will definitely stay here if come to Rome again -- it is worth the price.

  • We had an awesome time at Alex' apartment! It provides everything you might need, it is clean and tidy and the best of it all is its location: you step out of the front door and you're right there in the middle of the city, 2 mins away from the vatican! Alex was a really nice host, always there if we had problems or questions with anything and he provided us with useful insider information about Rome! Thank you again! We totally recommend this place:)

  • My boyfriend and I very much enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It's in a lovely location with great places to eat nearby and the Vatican just round the corner! The place is immaculate, secure, looks exactly like it does in the photos and extremely clean - it's a real delight and worthy of the 5*s.

This place is an ideal pad to stay in and explore Rome, we walked everywhere and really took the sights in.

Upon our return there was a small query from Alessandro about damage to a door, but this was quickly resolved (we hadn't caused it) and Alessandro handled it very fairly.

All in all a great apartment and we would happily stay in any of Alessandro's properties without hesitation. Just be sure to check over the repair of everything upon check-in and check-out.

  • I stayed here with my teen son. We found the apt spacious and comfortable. The neighbourhood is a mixture of locals and tourists. The side lanes are worth exploring for niche shops. The apt is in a classic, narrow Italian side street with plenty of places to eat. There are mini marts and a great little deli across the road. At one end of the street is St Peter's Basillica and at the other is the Castle St Angelo. The Vatican is close and an easy walk. Aleesandro was always available by email and text and answered all queries. At night the apartment was extremely quiet. We stayed in another airbnb property which was on a busy road and no one got much sleep. When in Rome it is certainly worth considering.

Thanks Mark, it was great having you.

  • The apartment location is great - within 5 minutes from Vatican. Alessandro is kind and good host - we closed the door and left the keys in the apartment, and he helped us to get the second pair of keys late at night. Many thanks for that.
Strongly recommend this apartment if you want to spend a couple of days in Roma.

    Response from Alessandro:

Hahaha Thanks Anastasia, we couldn't have you sleeping in the hallway :)

  • Allessandro was a quick responder and the communication was pleasant and good. Pompei vacation rentals Rome also arranged a car from and to the airport. Our plane landed much later than expected. Dimitri gave us the key in the appartment at a later hour, anyhow. The appartment was very nice and we liked the very good and quiet neighbourhood. There are a lot of restaurants in the same street, we liked Borgo Antico and Restochicco very much. All in all our stay was a very pleasant experience.
