About this listing
Close to the city, close to the beach, close to cafes, close to the nightlife; this is the perfect location for your stay in Sydney. The house consists of two bedrooms, a queen and a double, and one bathroom.
Two double bedrooms, one with balcony, located in a Victorian terrace house in Paddington, one of Sydney's most beautiful suburbs.
The house is decorated in mostly a mid-century style with a bit of eclecticism. The house is certainly not new and slick, it has some old quirks and charm.
Within the house you'll find:
Master room with queen bed and balcony
Two living spaces
Access to DVDs, music, books
Interaction with Guests
We will be away during your stay however will be available via phone. Our family members live a block away and if there are any issues can be on hand to help.
Around The Area
Cafe and shopping areas including Surry Hills, Darlinghurst and the heart of Paddington are very accessible from our house and are all within walking distance. It's definitely a cafe culture around here.
A small stroll will take you to the beautiful Rushcutters Bay. It's a direct bus trip to Bondi but we think it's also worth exploring the lesser known, but local favourite, spots like Red Leaf, Gordon's Bay and Nielsen Park.
We are a 5 minute walk from a number of bus stops; the 389 which runs between North Bondi and Circular Quay, the 311 which runs to Central station and back, the 378 and 380 to Bondi, and at certain times the 352 to Marrickville via Newtown. We are also a 5-10 minute walk from Kings Cross station.
There are some un-timed on-street parking spots available in our street, but they are usually taken. If these are not available there is on-street parking with a 1 hour limit during 8am-11pm. Alternatively, please contact us at time of booking if you would like to park and we will obtain temporary passes.
We will provide you with bed linen and a towel for your stay. If you require anything additional, please enquire and we'll see what we can do.
There is a strict no smoking policy within the house.
We treasure our furniture and belongings and it's important that you respect that by being careful and considerate when using the space.
