Beautiful villa in the center of village under reconstruction. The host Ioanna did a great job to restore her villas. She was very helpful during our stay. We arrived at 1h00 am due to a cancelled Speedboat to Heraklion, and she waited for us with a great smile. Extremely quiet v…

Dear Daniel thank you for the excellent review and your appreciation of the house quality. I wished you had told me earlier about the derelict state of the village. Historic settlements do undergo phases of "death" and rebirth and this is a village with lots of merits -as you experienced - that we try to bring to life again, by restoring old houses and preserving our valued historic architecture. I had no idea that it disturbed you so much, there are a lot of guest who love this kind of environment, this scenery with absolute silence and remoteness. On the other hand this location has a lot of natural interests, fresh air and nice breezes. Santorini was exactly like Anatoli up to 1960 so we have good reasons to believe that this place will look different in a few years. As for the ants all stone houses have to face this intruders, even the most expensive and high quality as mine.
