Tony was extremely helpful and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Even suggesting places to eat and drink nearby. The apartment is in a great location with easy access to Southbank, the beach and CBD. The apartment itself is very homely with everything you need. Even allowing us to use the apartment all day to store our luggage and wash up. Thanks very much Tony, hope to stay again In the future
This is a charming apartment, really bright and airy. Set in a great location close to trams and other transport, so the city is very easily accessible - it definitely met our expectations. The car park space and balcony made the stay extremely comfortable and easy. Excellent value for money - we would definitely stay again.
Had a great stay at this well located apartment. Tony was great, welcoming me on arrival and providing some really good local tips. The apartment was well appointed and comfortable - a great place to stay, and one I would recommend.
We stayed at Tony's apartment for a few days while exploring Melbourne. It was just what we were looking for and close to restaurants and bars in St Kilda. It was also really easy to get the tram in to the city. Tony was super helpful and very welcoming and we would definitely stay again!
Tony was a wonderful host, spending quite a bit of time getting me oriented with the unit, building, neighborhood, and Melbourne as well as recommending places to visit in the surrounding areas. It would've been much harder for me to figure out the YarraTram Myki system without him. The bedroom furniture is quite different than what's pictured. The bathroom and kitchen need some deep cleaning (e.g., soiled baking pan left in oven). The sliding glass door on the balcony is broken and does not shut/lock. Although this is not a safety issue because of the height and location of the balcony, a lot of heat is lost making the apartment chilly during periods of spring showers. Otherwise, unit is in the outskirts of St. Kilda and Melbourne, a two minute walk to the tram and 20 minute ride to the heart of Melbourne. It's a wonderful, safe location for getting a sense of how locals live and quickly integrating into the rhythm of life in the south.
I really enjoyed staying at Tony's apartment. It was clean, tidy & had an inviting feel to it. Centrally located it made my stay in Melbourne easy. Thanks Tony
Tony was an excellent host - he was very responsive with communication, and he met me at the door when I arrived to show me around and offer some advice on local attractions and amenities.
The apartment itself is fantastic - exactly as pictured and advertised. It is very clean and bright, with a fully stocked kitchen and beautiful balcony overlooking the neighbourhood. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and would definitely stay here again if I am ever back in the area.
We would like to welcome you to Melbourne Australia.
Our two grown daughters are a very important part of our life. We all love to travel, discover new cultures and meet people from all walks of life. Like most Melbournians, we adore our home city, its amazing food & coffee, but find ourselves called away to explore the world.
Over the past decade fate has taken us to live in the UK and the US, living and working on a gorgeous farm in Princeton NJ, just south of NYC. One of our best-ever stays was through Airbnb, with Steve (in Nice, France), who provided us with real insights and information about his city (through the eyes of a local - as they say).
Today we’d like to share our knowledge about our fair city Melbourne and share with you a bit of our local community St. Kilda.
