If you need guidance on where to go in Napa, Sonoma or the San Francisco Bay Area. I will be happy to show you brochures and help you find locations such as restaurants and wineries.
I will open the gate for you with mandatory 30 minute advance notice by text mail before check in and 15 minutes before arrival at the gate upon your return. This also gives me an opportunity to put my dogs in the kennel before you come inside the gate. I train service dogs, so you may meet them and say hello with supervision or they can just stay in their areas. I do have one big, friendly daddy dog who will make sure you get a little doggy love if you like.
Only 11 minutes from Sonoma Plaza. This is a rural home with a country feel on a private road. The main road is not a thoroughfare, so many Sonomans come here to walk their dogs or jog in the mornings. The Sonoma Mission Inn/Fairmont Golf Course is nearby.
It is best to have a car when you visit Sonoma although there are bicycle rentals and San Francisco type Trolley car wine tours too. There is a little motor bike rental outlet as well.
WINERIES! Wine and Food...throw in a bit of Art, Music, Jazz, April International Film Festival and that's Sonoma. Grape vines and beautiful trees abound. Fall is very colorful, winters are mild, summer isn't too hot. Spring is very pretty with the new leaves sprouting off the formerly barren gnarly grape vines with Daffodils and other flowers everywhere.

Karen was a lovely hostess! Her home is close to downtown Sonoma, but removed enough to be quiet and private. The rooms are spacious and lovely. Karen outdid herself offering us the comforts of home, including fresh fruit, juice, coffee, and snacks at breakfast time. We would stay with her again anytime!
Karen is a really welcoming host and her log home is so charming. She gave great tips on what to do in Sonoma and it was so nice to have the guidance of an insider. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again.
Karen was super welcoming and has a beautiful home. This is a perfect getaway to Sonoma, especially compared to the hotel options around there. All rooms are on their own wing of the house so you have privacy.
