Sweet, comfortable and fully renovated loft style appartment in the heart of Little Italy : one of Montreal's hipest and most authentic neighbourhoods.

Sweet, comfortable and fully renovated loft style appartment in the heart of Little Italy : one of Montreal's hipest and most authentic neighbourhoods.
You will find one bedroom with a queen size bed, semi-open onto the living room. There's also an extra mattress that would fit a young one, or an extra guest.
The place has a great back balcony, natural light all afternoon. A cozy bathroom. There is a large living room and eating area, and all the necessary accessories in the kitchen. You can cook great food bought at Montreal's best market: Marché Jean-Talon, which is 5 minute walk from the house. Also WiFi, flat screen TV and sound system available. You will have a cozy and sweet time by yourself or with your loved ones here!

A few steps away from the house you will find....
-Metro station (De Castelneau 5 min, Jean-Talon 10 min)
-Bus #55 which takes you directly downtown, and to most tourist attractions
-Parking on the street
-Jarry Park for walking, kids games, skating in the winter

Great food!
-Jean-Talon Market boasts fresh local and imported goods (crazy fruits, veggies, maple sirup, meats, sea food, breads, wines... a food lover's paradise!)
-Milano, a fine italian grocery with cheeses to die for....
-Caffe Italia, Montreal's best coffee (according to us neighours!)
-Many MANY restaurants, amongst my favorites
Le Pick Up: hipster hot sandwiches
Ellefsen: raffined swedish eatery
Vice et Versa: local pub and brewery
Le Petit Alep: delicious syrian restaurant
Many cheap and yummy vietnamese Pho (soup) places on St-Denis
and, this being Little Italy, countless wood fired italian pizza, pasta and trattoria places. My favorite is.... La Bottega!

So have a true experience of Montreal, like we live it, whether you want to go out and party, see the tourist attractions, or just chill and be more familly oriented. This is a place conveniently located for it all!

  • Val's loft was beautiful, neat, clean, and comfortable. it was well apportioned and incredibly cute. Likewise Val was incredibly helpful and cheerful when we were having a hard time trying to come to grips with the intricacies of Montreal street parking. The location was without a doubt one of the best in the city. Close to most of the attractions that we wanted to visit and a spitting distance away from the Metro. it was all-in-all a wonderful space and would happily stay there again if the urge to snag another Cronetto began to once again upwell inside of me.

  • Fabulous place to stay in every way. Val was a wonderful, welcoming host - a pleasure to meet and chat with, and also responded promptly to any questions we had throughout our 1-week stay. The apt. was very clean, bright and lovely, with a super comfy queen size bed, well equipped kitchen, cozy back deck, flowers! and more. As well, the quiet neighbourhood and easy walking proximity to grocery stores (the incredible "Milano" is just around the corner and not to be missed, even if you're not planning to cook), cafes and restaurants of both Little Italy and the Jean Talon market, and metro made it a perfect location to have as our home base to explore from (it also provided easy access to Mile End - by bus or by foot). A pleasure to stay at - thanks so much Val, for adding the warm, personal touch.

  • My husband and I stayed at Val's fabulous loft for a week. The entire experience was wonderful, right from the moment we 'checked in'. Val left out a fantastic folder full of suggestions about restaurants, bars and cafes in the area as well as some delicious bagels!

The place is in a great location in Little Italy - it's walking distance from the big Jean Talon Market as well as nice little Italian eateries and hip bars. I'd suggest checking out Gus (a fantastic restaurant two blocks away) and Le Ballpark, which is about one block away.

The loft itself is beautifully appointed with WiFi, a nice big TV, fluffy towels and all of the other little details that made our stay very comfortable.

Thanks Val for a really lovely Air BNB experience!

  • The Loft is a superb place to inhabit and a perfect base to explore this energetic city. Accommodation includes possibly the most comfortable bed ever, a comprehensive collection of photography books, a well equipped kitchen. There are dining, sitting, relaxing, studying and bathing areas all within one space and even an outside balcony with al fresco possibilities . It's great and so is Little Italy and so are the people downstairs ! Allez - y !

  • Super accueil. Super quartier. Merci !!

  • We stayed at Val’s loft for five days. It was warm, super clean, and wonderfully decorated! There was a little list of information about the apartment, restaurant recommendations, and a guidebook or two. The kitchen was equipped with all the basics that we needed. Val was a welcoming host and was always available by text. The neighbourhood was great. We were close to the metro, the Jean-Talon market, grocery stores, bars, and restaurants. We enjoyed several of Val’s restaurant recommendations very much. We had a great time. Highly recommended!

  • My fiancé and I stayed at Val's apartment for a week in March while taking a course nearby. Val was very quick to respond to any of my questions/concerns, and she was very considerate and helpful. When we arrived the apartment was nicely cleaned and organized, and it was easy to use the kitchen as she had the basics provided such as oil and spices. Overall, we had a great experience staying at Val's, and I would highly recommend her as a host. There were just a couple of things about the apartment that were not ideal for us, however they may not be a problem for others: there is no microwave in the apartment; the bed size felt a bit tight for us as we are two very tall people and I am pretty sure it's a double bed; the bedroom is just separated from the rest of the apartment by a curtain rather than a wall, so it wasn't ideal if one person wanted to go to sleep while the other stayed up doing things. These are just minor details that we noticed, but everything else was great.
