The master bedroom is huge and has a queen size bed. There are two other bedrooms; each with a queen size bed and small desk. We have a cozy double sized air mattress and a single sized air mattress that can be setup in various places. There are also two long couches in the living room and a third long couch in the office downstairs.
There are plenty of clean sheets, pillows, blankets, and towels for all guests. There is wireless internet throughout the house and a 50" TV in the living room. The kitchen is well equipped, but ask us if there is anything in particular that you'd like to have available. Next to the fridge, there is a snackbar where you are welcome to grab a chocolate or make yourself some coffee, tea, or hot coco. There is a hairdryer under the sink in the guest bathroom. An iron and ironing board can be found in the laundry room past the kitchen. Also in the laundry room is a wireless Canon MP640 printer/scanner, which you are welcome to use. In the back yard, you will find a fire pit and a small propane grill. There is usually a bicycle or two that is available.
Many restaurant, fast food, and grocery options are only a 1/2 mile away. The city bus service (Phoenix Metro) stops 1/4 mile north of the house and can take you to the airport or ASU main campus/downtown Tempe. The Legacy and Raven Golf Clubs are just across Baseline Road to the north of us.
Other Things to Note

A group of friends and I had the great pleasure of staying in Alana & Richards home while we were in Phoenix for 7 days competing in a disc golf tournament. I honestly cannot say a single bad thing about the house and our overall experience there. We were not able to meet Alana & Richard as they were away on vacation, but any questions I had they answered very quickly and really made everything from booking to walking out the door for the last time so easy and comfortable. I loved that their home was in a nice quiet neighborhood and so close to the airport (10-15 mins) and many other great restaurants and stores. All of which I didn't even have to search for on my phone because they were kind enough to leave a list of all the nearby food, shopping, and even a few sightseeing options. The house itself was very clean, spacious, and welcoming. For the price, you can't go wrong with this property. I already inquired about booking the house again for my return next year!
Thanks again Alana & Richard!
Great house. Great owners. Great location and great neighborhood. Would recommend it to anyone looking to come to Phoenix. Richard and Alana are awesome.
Alana & Richard were extremely easy to deal with. Responded to inquiries quickly.
The house itself is spacious and on a nice quiet street. There are a few minor repairs that need done, but nothing that will affect your trip.
The location was perfect for our purposes, a bunch of guys on a golf trip. It is reasonably close to the airport and highways.
There are a number of good restaurants nearby, of special note is Los Dos Molinas, a fantastic family run Mexican restaurant. If you like Mexican food give this place a try.
Overall we thought the house was great value for our trip and wouldn't hesitate to book here again.
Thanks Alana & Richard.
Alana and Richard were very welcoming, and their house was very spacious. My family of seven came over from Japan, and we stayed at the house for my wedding. Staying at their house was the best decision that my husband and I made since we were able to relax. We even had a reunion with both of our families even though we were running around for our wedding preparation. Alana and Richard were very helpful and quick to reply to our questions/concerns. They provided very detailed descriptions about their house which were very accurate and helpful. We liked the fact they had a variety of items to have good time with our families (e.g. kitchen items, board/card games, etc). If we have chance to visit AZ again, we would love to go back and stay at their house.
Alana and Richard were amazing hosts. Our family gathered in Phoenix to celebrate Christmas so there were 10 adults and one child in there home for the week. The house was exactly as described and worked perfectly. It was clean, roomy and very comfortable. We were at our family's home during most of the days, but the neighborhood was very quiet from what we experienced. Very close to some great hiking trails in South Mountain too. This was our first experience renting through Airbnb. We will definitely explore this option again. Thank you.
Alana and Richard are nice to make this homestay experience easy and good for our group. They make us feeling at home and enjoying the family environment.
Would love to go and meet them next time.
This home was exactly what my family needed for our stay in Phoenix! Alana & Richard had everything we needed and more. My family loved being able to cook in a well equipped kitchen and enjoyed evenings on the patio watching humming birds dart about the shaded yard that was a desert oasis. Very close and convent to the airport, major roads for quick travel to attractions, and groceries.
