Abraham was a great host. He invited me and my girlfriend out for a drink with his friends when we first arrived, a perfect intro to the city. We had a nice warm bedroom with private bathroom at its own end of the house, easy peasy. The pictures don't do it justice. Almost by coincidence it was also the perfect location from which to check out the music scene I had wanted to explore. Good stuff.
Great home, great host who allowed me to book less than 24 hours out during an emergency. Would definitely return!
The apartment was beautiful and clean. Location was great and secure. I would recommend.
My stay with Abraham was great. The night before I arrived there was a huge snow storm, and being from Texas and unfamiliar driving in snow, I was very late arriving to his place. He was so understanding and even shoveled a spot for me to park my rental! He went above and beyond to help me during my stay at his place.
The house was pristine, and very cozy. Definitely would stay there again if I ever find myself in Detroit!
This loft was absolutely amazing. It was extremely cozy and private. And I was very close to all of the attractions that I came for (Slows, The Works, etc). It was a very quiet neighborhood as well as a quiet street. I can not stress enough how ideal this loft was/is. I plan on staying here (if available) everytime I visit Detroit
Thomas and I enjoyed our brief stay - clean, quiet helpful hosts - we had a lovely walk to a local pub. Abraham was very accommodating - we felt very comfortable and would stay again
Abraham was a super awesome and accommodating host. He showed us all around the loft, there were maps in our room, he told us about cool local places and we chatted with him for a while. It was very quiet for sleeping and a super comfortable bed. We had our own bathroom which was awesome! I would definitely recommend this place to stay. Also, it turns out that I worked with Abraham briefly 4-5 years ago while in Chicago..small world!!
I am a high school administrator in Detroit, MI. I'm originally from Chicago, but Detroit is my new home.
I've traveled throughout Europe, Asia, and the US. Meeting new people is always wonderful, especially through hosting and being hosted.
