It was really amazing!! the place was everything that Jules describes it as and we couldn't have asked for a better location! It felt like coming home at the end of the day and not like we were in a rented place. The host was amazingly responsive and it felt like it was meant to be.
Jules made check in easy, the apartment was as described, and nice and tidy. If you are looking for the 'real' San Francisco apartment experience this is it! Just like SF, it's not perfect, but it's flaws are charming
The apartment is cozy and warm, which lures you into spending more time than you planned curled up on the couch! Jules himself was great, quick to respond despite being in Asia during my time. For this reason, we did not meet, but I felt welcome during my stay.
I was in town for work, and the apartment is well located, steps away from two or three buses that take you downtown in about 20-25 minutes. I also found the neighborhood to be a 'hotspot' for Lyft Line (Lyft's version of Uber Pool), making most rides no more than $6-7 a ride.
The laundromat is less than 5 minutes away, along with a great coffee shop.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
I booked this Jules' place to take my girlfriend to San Francisco for the first time. This was also my first experience with Airbnb. Everything worked out great. The apartment is in a great neighborhood that has nice charm. The French restaurant down the way was awesome. There are plenty of bus stops nearby, so getting anywhere in the city was easy. Checking in could't have been easier. The apartment was clean and large by San Francisco standards. The back yard garden is gorgeous. The bed was comfy. We really got to experience a taste of what living in San Francisco is like- an experience that wouldn't have been the same staying in a hotel.
Jules was a good host. We never met him, but he was very responsive via Airbnb messaging. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
Jules was fabulous: location and apartment descriptions, tips and responsiveness were all amazing, despite the fact he was himself traveling oversees during our stay. We felt his care throughout and had a smooth and hassle-less stay in his spacious and clean apartment. Very cute and well-kept garden was an amazing find.
Everything was great! The apartment was beautiful and in a GREAT location... Communication with Jules was seamless and I really enjoyed my stay. Would definitely book again.
