*sweet cat living on apt needing minimal attention
Erin was an absolute delight to have host me at her apartment. The apartment itself is just wonderful - clean and fairly large and has everything I needed. It's in a really great area, close to public transport, close to some amazing restaurants, and walking distance to the Brooklyn Bridge. I had a great stay, plus KittyCow (the cat) is very cute and lovely company. Also, the rooftop area was excellent; from there you can see out onto the Manhattan skyline, so it was especially lovely to sit out there on warm evenings. I highly recomend this apartment.
Erin was a friendly host and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was super cozy and spacious and the neighborhood was amazing. I have recommended the place for couple of my friends and will definitely stay here again! Thanks Erin :)
We spent 8 days at Erin's apartment in winter and it was phenomenal! The apartment it's roomy and warm located in a great and quiet neighborhood with several good restaurants around. The subway is really close and there is a 24/7 supermarket nearby.
Erin was a thoughtful host and care about us all the time.
We had a wonderful stay in Erin's apartment! Everything was there that we needed to enjoy our visit during the Thanksgiving week. The location is beautiful and quiet but just a few blocks away from the subway when you want to enjoy the city too. Erin was very attentive to our needs. We look forward to the possibility staying their again on our many future trips to Brooklyn.
It's a very nice neighborhood close to Brooklyn promenade. Subway is really in 3 min from home. There are a lot of good restaurants and food stores in this area.
The apartment is big, with high ceiling. And it looks better than on pics. It is clean and I found all necessary things.
I communicated with Erin by phone without problem, she is kind and supportive.
Few words about the cat. Kittycow (lol) is friendly, she likes to sleep with a human and on a human. She talkative. But one day she decided to organize her toillet hm... everywhere. They say it's a way to attract attention. After this incident I just always closed the door to the bedroom. So if you are a cat person, it's extremly good and convenient place.
Erin was a thoughtful and communicative host, very easygoing and helpful. The apartment itself is wonderfully situated for getting to and from both JFK and Manhattan. Neighborhood is quiet and the views from the rooftop are fantastic! 24 market and great coffee are just a few steps away. I highly recommend heading down to the waterfront during Smorgasberg/ Brooklyn Flea on the weekend and using the East River Ferry to hop from one to another of the locations, purely for the people watching. World famous Grimaldi pizza is also nearby. There will always be a line. That line will be longer every time you pass it, so just give in and go.
The little black and white cat who reigns over this space will also win your affections.
Erin's apartment was great! In a perfect location in a wonderful neighborhood. Erin was very helpful and friendly. An added bonus was the friendly cat who entertained us and made us feel at home! We would stay again and have already recommended her place to friends.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay at Erin's apt. She is a lovely host, very communicative, accommodating and laid back. The building is safe with great neighbors, and located in what I now consider to be the best neighborhood in New York. Safe, beautiful and very functional. Easy to get to any store or resource you could ever possibly need. The river is a block away, with Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty and two gorgeous bridges right there. (Great photo ops) The apt is small but comfortable, and her cat is an added delight - very loving and sweet. Everything went very well and we are glad we chose Erin's apt for our vacation.
Great host and clean, spacious apt in a nice neighborhood! Will stay there again.
