For any question about Milan... just ask me or my flatmates! We'll be happy to help you and reccomand you the best places in Milan
Lucia's place was great. She and her flatmates were nice to talk to (plus they cooked us brunch the day we arrived), and the location of her apartment is really convenient.
I spent to nights in Lucias Appartment and enjoyed my time there a lot! The chamber was perfect and the area of the city charming and nice. Everything was easy to find too so that my voyage was a real pleasure.
Lucia wasn't around when I visited, but I met her roommate Alessandro and others who are all very friendly and chatty. The room was larger than I expected and the place is clean and comfortable. It is also well decorated with lots of random stickers and posters! The location of the place is great, it is easy to get around with the buses just right downstairs and there's also a supermarket across the street.
Lucia's room is perfect. It is in Milan Chinatown, which I consider the best area of Milan (lived there three years), close to Parco Sempione, everything you need in walking distance. The room is also calm and well furnished, and I had a bathroom on my own. The flatmates were very nice and easy going. Checking in and checking out was very flexible. I received immediate replies to any questions. Definitely recommended.
Me and my friend really enjoy our stay in Lucia's place. The flat was easy to reach from the central station by Milan's public transport. There were supermarket and good restaurants around the corner too. We got a nice and warm artsy room, private bathroom, and access to the kitchen, so it was really perfect for us who need a comfortable shelter from Milan's rainy weather. Didn't met Lucia as she was traveling by the time we came, but her flatmates were super nice and helpful in giving us necessary information about Milan. Thank you for your hospitality! ^^
Lucia offers a nice, big and comfortable room in the center of Milan. Thanks to the rather efficient transport system, it is easy to get to all points of attraction. Lucia and her flat mates are all easy-going and friendly, you can always have a nice chat with them, but they also respect your privacy. Perfect arrangement for a short visit to Milan!
In posizione comodissima per muoversi in città, stanza spaziosa, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
The place is nice and full of things to see (cool kitschy style!). Lucia and his crew are kind hosts, they gived us advices and responded all of our questions. Is not super close to the main points of interest but has a bus stop around the corner (like 10 minutes to the center).
Our stay at Lucia's place was very pleasant, the room was big and clean with a balcony and there is a private bathroom for the guests. Lucia and all 4 of her flatmates are really nice and helpfull. It's a young crowd, with an artsy and colorfull house and we enjoyed talking to everyone around the kitchen table. The location around Chinatown is actually pretty close to the citycentre and there is a lot of public transportation around. Not to mention that you can rent bikes all over Milan.
Nice people, nice house, nice neighbourhood, nice cat and a nice price. We would totally recommend this place it to anyone!!
Lucia's flat was a charming apartment chock full of personal touches, like posters, figurines and stickers, giving it a very lived-in, Bohemian vibe. It's a good location for a home base, not as close to the central attractions, like the Duomo area, as we would have liked, but Milan's efficient public transport system meant this wasn't an issue. You also get your own balcony and the bed is both comfy and inviting at the end of a long shopping day.
Still, the place isn't perfect, mainly because the bathroom is located separately from the room, past the common kitchen. You may get some unwanted intrusions while showering! The doors are also old and tend to creak, and do not always catch as well as they should on the locks. Lastly, the flat regulars include a pet cat, which tends to wander into your room and sit on the furniture, and may be a concern for anyone with allergies.
Lucia is very friendly and lively to talk to, and will happily answer any questions you may have about touring Milan and getting to where you need to be. She is a very busy person, though, with her demanding job as a costume designer, so make sure you work out when you expect to arrive at her doorstep, or arrange to be flexible with your arrival time.
