Chinatown - pedestrian area, so quite and full of good and cheap restaurants
Bus 43 (it goes to Moscova Metro station) and 57 (Cadorna Station - Milan's Castle) stops are just round our building.
Bus 37 (Porta Garibaldi Station) and 19 (Porta Genova - Navigli) stops are 2 minutes far by foot.
Esperienza decisamente positiva!
We were very disappointed with the accommodation especially for the increased rate of 90 Euros per night. Unfortunately there was no where else available at the time as everything had already been booked up for the Design week. We had to share a bathroom, which was very inconvenient as we had to wait 45 minutes the one morning before we could get ready. The bathroom door did not shut and was slightly open which led directly into the bathroom where all the flat mates and their friends would congregate. Not private at all. The bathroom and kitchen were dirty. Fortunately the bed and bedroom were clean with clean sheets and towels provided, however the towel had to last us 5 nights. There were so many people in the apartment that we couldn't keep up with who lived there or not. One morning I was changing and a complete strange man opened the bedroom door and saw me in my knickers, which was a very awkward and embarrassing situation. Basically this is a student digs. If you are not used to living in these conditions, don't even go there. We only met Lucia the last night, and she seemed very kind and called a taxi to find out how much it would cost to the airport.
I enjoyed my stay at Lucia's place very much! I liked the apartment, it is cozy and perfectly located in a nice area near very center of Milan. It's a great starting point for walking tours.
And Lucia (email hidden) and very forthcoming with check-in/out times. I felt very fortunate to have such a kind welcoming, especially after my flight was delayed. Lucia is quick to respond to any questions.
Would highly recommend!
Lucia's place was great. She and her flatmates were nice to talk to (plus they cooked us brunch the day we arrived), and the location of her apartment is really convenient.
I spent to nights in Lucias Appartment and enjoyed my time there a lot! The chamber was perfect and the area of the city charming and nice. Everything was easy to find too so that my voyage was a real pleasure.
Lucia wasn't around when I visited, but I met her roommate Alessandro and others who are all very friendly and chatty. The room was larger than I expected and the place is clean and comfortable. It is also well decorated with lots of random stickers and posters! The location of the place is great, it is easy to get around with the buses just right downstairs and there's also a supermarket across the street.
Lucia's room is perfect. It is in Milan Chinatown, which I consider the best area of Milan (lived there three years), close to Parco Sempione, everything you need in walking distance. The room is also calm and well furnished, and I had a bathroom on my own. The flatmates were very nice and easy going. Checking in and checking out was very flexible. I received immediate replies to any questions. Definitely recommended.
Me and my friend really enjoy our stay in Lucia's place. The flat was easy to reach from the central station by Milan's public transport. There were supermarket and good restaurants around the corner too. We got a nice and warm artsy room, private bathroom, and access to the kitchen, so it was really perfect for us who need a comfortable shelter from Milan's rainy weather. Didn't met Lucia as she was traveling by the time we came, but her flatmates were super nice and helpful in giving us necessary information about Milan. Thank you for your hospitality! ^^
Lucia offers a nice, big and comfortable room in the center of Milan. Thanks to the rather efficient transport system, it is easy to get to all points of attraction. Lucia and her flat mates are all easy-going and friendly, you can always have a nice chat with them, but they also respect your privacy. Perfect arrangement for a short visit to Milan!
