My husband, Bob and I are retired teachers. We have four children ages 44, 43, 34 and 24. The 2 oldest are boys and the 2 youngest are girls. It is our youngest daughter who is graduating from SVA. I am 70 and Bob is 75, but our kids have kept us young, not to mention our students. We are very excited to be visiting New York. It's been many years since we have been there. Bob is from Boston originally, and we often visited NY on our way there. But as the family scattered, our trips were to Georgia, North Carolina and Louisiana One sister is in Maine and we plan to go there after a visit with my 97 yr.old aunt in New Haven, CT. My side of the family headed west, so we take trips to Colorado, Texas, Arizona and both southern and northern California. Now there has been some movement to Washington State and Idaho. That will probably be our next destination. But this time, it's New York, New York......We like movies, plays, music, and art. We garden, mostly flowers and herbs and do a little bird watching. I like to sew and am working on a quilt. I have become obsessed with genealogy for the last 6 months and have even joined the DAR.Bob likes to play FreeCell on the computer and we both are Downton Abbey fans. Lately we have been watching the History channel's Viking series. Bob also enjoys all the various detective shows that feature autopsies and novel conditions of corpse discovery (Bones and NCIS) I watch right along with him except I look away when the blood and guts appear. We love March Madness and watch every minute of every game, even when Kansas gets knocked out too early--Rock Chalk Jay Hawk--KaaUuoo. This is probably too much information. Feel free to forget it all.
