We had a great stay at Stephen's place during the busiest time of the year in HK.. We were coming in and out of the place because of work in China. We opened a group chat on Whatsapp and communication was so easy and awesome.
They even put out extra blankets because it got really cold after we got in.
Nice water pressure and hot water in the shower!
Used the kitchen to cook dinner one night, perfect!!
Was just really easy to talk to Stephen and he replied really fast to all our questions.... extremely flexible and tried his best always to cooperate with our time and needs.
Place is pretty easy to find by Taxi as long as you have the Chinese address.
Checkout was pretty smooth and flexible for us: we had an early meeting so Stephen was nice enough to let us leave our luggage there and met with us after our meeting.
Definitely would recommend and go back again!
The per day rate was pretty cheap since our stay was during xmas and NYE season!

My friend and I had a pleasant stay at Stephen's apartment in Kennedy Town. Like everyone else says, the apartment looks just like the pictures. Apartment was clean, internet was fast, air conditioning worked well (there was one small unit that needed some quick work but Stephen took care of it right away, although, the main unit in the living room works so well that I don't think the other two were even necessary). The apartment was as advertised, Stephen was very friendly and helpful and I would not hesitate to stay again in the future.
My friend and I had a pleasant stay at Stephen's apartment. It was exactly as you see in the verified photos, and the directions he provided from the airport were precise (we took the airport shuttle). Its location is quite hard to beat - close to a nice little park, across the street from the public swimming pool as well as tram and bus lines, and the closest shopping mall (that also has a huge grocery store) is a 2- to 3-minute walk. There is a convenient escalator that carries you up to the West entrance of HKU and staircase to help you down (Google Maps does not tell you this). The apartment is well equipped for a couple of individuals or even a family of three. Stephen met us at the bus stop when we arrived, got us acquainted with his place and was then available by cell phone, whenever necessary. Check out was just as convenient and flexible. I would certainly recommend Stephen's place if you're planning to spend more than a few days in HK.
Stephen's apartment was perfect for our needs, close to HKU for work and Westwood shopping center for our groceries. It's very clean, modern, bright and sufficiently outfitted. No laundry facilities in-house, but that helped us enjoy the luxury of laundry done by someone else at the "Chinese Laundry" (our term) around the corner - quick and very inexpensive. Stephen was always very prompt in replying to text messages we sent, handling any of our issues satisfactorily and giving us some very useful local advice.
Stephen was a good host. Changed his airbnb settings so we could stay for less than a month, let our daughter check in for us as we were going to be late, and brought extra cups and towels when requested. He also noticed air con was faulty and fixed that. The flat was good, quiet, clean and well kept. Good kitchen area, main bedroom had a good sized bed , reasonable shower room with good sized shower and plenty of hot water. Transport links were just outside the door. These included buses, trams and taxis. All of which are very regular. There are plenty of shops and a good supermarket nearby, also plenty of cafes and restaurants. Kennedy town is a great area to stay with plenty of interesting local shops. Apartment block is right next to the waterfront and park. Also the publics swimming baths is opposite the door- I can recommend this. It is modern, clean cheap and was not busy when we were there.
All in all a very good place to stay.
My wife and I had a great experience staying in Stephen's Kennedy Town apartment. Stephen provided plenty of kitchenware, furniture, bedding, towels, and other housewares, but did not clutter the apartment with excessive amounts of knick-knacks, books, and other items extraneous to our one-week visit. All the essentials were there, and the fixtures and furniture were attractive, serviceable, and good quality. The hillside views are also quite nice, and the master bedroom has windows on two sides.
In addition, there was quite a bit of storage available, including plenty of drawers, hanging closet space (including hangers), desk space, towel racks, bathroom shelf and cabinet space, and kitchen cupboard shelving. I spent lots of time on boats as a youngster, where space is at a premium and creative storage compartments occupy every nook and cranny. That's the kind of thoughtful design and space efficiency evident in Stephen's place.
We especially appreciated the bathroom vanity (cabinet) with countertop space. Many Hong Kong bathrooms are limited to small pedestal sinks. Also, Stephen's apartment has excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. In fact, anyone from the USA (where hot water heater temperatures in rental property are limited by law to 120 degrees F) will be astonished to discover how hot the water gets.
As for ease of access, the lack of a nearby MTR (tube) station is really not important. It's right on the tram line and there are dozens of bus routes that stop within a couple blocks of the apartment, including the A10 which goes to or from the airport in less than an hour. All the buses are air-conditioned, safe, some have free wifi, and the more common routes have buses every 5-8 minutes. Also, for those new to HK, the airport and MTR stations also have free wifi, so it's easy to coordinate your arrival at the apartment. Once you get there, Stephen's wifi is very fast.
appartment very well located, not too far from Central HKG, quiet and well maintened
