Sue was the perfect host, and her home is very welcoming. Our twin bedroom was a great size, spacious and bright, comfy beds, even a sofa, tea, coffee and snacks provided!! Breakfast was informal and relaxed, in a lovely room. Sue went above and beyond the duties of a host by driving us to the pub and to the start of the marathon we were taking part in! So, so friendly and accommodating. Thanks Sue.

A lovely quiet neighbourhood on the edge of the Downs but really close to Brighton and everything it has to offer. Sue made us feel very welcome and we were relaxed and comfortable for the whole of our stay. We were attending family events at our daughters just down the road and it was great to be with them and yet to be able to escape to Sue's to recharge our batteries. Anything a guest could need was available, from several different kinds of tea and coffee, biscuits and snacks in our room to toiletries in the shower room and guest bathrobes hanging in the wardrobe. We had our own private little fridge for some beers or a chilled bottle of wine. Breakfast was a lovely mix of healthy things including fresh fruit salad with yoghourt, eggs, toast etc., croissants and filter coffee. Sue very generously offered us the use of her charming garden for our coffee in the mornings as we were lucky enough to have warm, sunny weather I am sure we will be returning.

I have lived in Brighton most of my life apart from early years in London. I absolutely love the diversity and Brighton culture, the mix of people and varied and interesting things to do. I love interacting with people, and I couldn't live in a better location overlooking the do…
