The Space
This bedroom is fully furnished, with ducted heating and fan cooling. It contains a queen-size futon bed, wardrobe, bedside table and clock. WiFi Internet is provided. It is available for one person or a couple. For more than one person the cost per night is an extra $15.

A complimentary breakfast is supplied for the first two nights; consisting of: muesli or cereal, toast, coffee and herbal teas. Breakfast can be available from the third night onwards. Also, upon arrival, my guest (email hidden) on the health benefits of Young Living's essential oils.

The neighbourhood is safe and my neighbours are really friendly. The local park is 20 metres away; containing a playground, tennis courts and BBQ area. There is public access to the tennis courts and two tennis racquets are provided for my guests during their stay.

Glenelg East is a 5-10 minute walk away from Glenelg's main road Jetty Road, which is always alive; with various restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops. My residence is a 10-15 minute walk away from the Glenelg beach. You can also catch the Glenelg East tram to the centre of Glenelg, where you would get off at the end of Jetty Road at the Moseley Square stop.

My place is around 12 kilometres from the heart of the Adelaide CBD. Public transport is very accessible, with trams running to and from the CBD regularly; running every 20 minutes maximum. It takes about 20 minutes to travel by tram from the Glenelg East stop to the first tram stop located in the Adelaide CBD and around 35 minutes (depending on the day) to reach the furthest northern CBD tram stop

Trams running within the vicinity of the Glenelg suburb are free (from the Moseley Square stop to the corner of Jetty Road and Brighton road and vice versa). This also applies to the trams (as well as the 99c free bus) running within the CBD from North Terrace to South Terrace. Also, various buses run regularly along Anzac Highway, only a 2 minute walk from the apartment.

My place is a great beach getaway as well as being close to the city. If you have any further questions, inbox away!

  • Visiting Julia at her home by the beach in itself is a holiday! And we missed her so much from our New Year stay that we decided to spend Easter with her also. She took very good care of us making sure we were well-rested, well-fed and emotionally uplifted. Who needs a spa visit when you have Julia's home to rest, relax and rejuvenate in? I found her knowledge of staying healthy and having a positive outlook on life a welcome escape from the humdrum of city life in Melbourne. Adelaide is a great place to find your feet in while the rest of the country flies on by at warp speed. Come hang out at Julia's!

  • Julia was fantastic both prior to my arrival and during my stay, a great host.

The flat is a nice location near the beach and tram, which is good with Adelaide's limited PT. The room very large and the bed is really comfortable. The breakfast, tea and coffee was tasty.

Good value and really enjoyable place to stay.

  • My mom and I had the absolute pleasure of staying two nights with Julia whilst traveling around Australia. She responded to our inquiry very promptly and we were able to pick up the house key from her at work which is walking distance from her place. She gave us some wonderful tips on what to explore in Adelaide as well as directions, which was really lovely. We loved sharing our traveling stories, and conversation was rich and quite enjoyable. We would absolutely stay with Julia again if we found ourselves in Adelaide again and hope to catch up with her in the future if our paths cross again!

  • Julia is a wonderful host and the room is accurately depicted in the photos. The room is both large and clean with a comfortable bed. Julia is extremely welcoming and goes out of her way to ensure guests feel at home in her space. The location is close to shops, the beach and a short ride into the city. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting adelaide. Thanks Julia! I look forward to staying with you again.

  • The house was impeccable. Clean and very quiet day and night. Julia is a great person to have around although she wasn't much at home. The rooms a larger than they appear on the photos. Also rhe TV has been replaced by a huge flatscreen.

  • Julia did everything possible to make us feel at home, her home smells really nice and you will end up learning about natural oils and essences!

  • Staying with Julia worked out perfectly for me in my trip to Adelaide. The accommodations were exactly as advertised and Julia was so pleasant and happy to be around. I didn't spend much time there but I kept odd hours and it all worked out great. I would definitely stay there again!

About
Well, my name is Julia... I love living by the beach, love my home, my plants in it and have some really great neighbours. I run my own Tutoring and Mentoring business 'Pathways & Pitstops' and am quite health conscious. Having an Italian heritage, I speak a little bit of Italian. I was born and bred in Adelaide; so despite the fact that I am often quite busy running in and out of my place, I am quite happy and confident sharing tips in regards to places to go and things to do. Travelling, learning more about natural health, meeting new people and generally learning new things are prominent hobbies of mine. Consequently, being an Airbnb host works really well for me, as I am constantly meeting some fantastic people and learning new things! I look forward to meeting more fantastic people at my door! I will see you when I am looking at you! :-)
