VERY CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT AND TRAIN STATION. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION CAN BE ACCESSED 3 MINUTES WALKING DISTANCE FROM THE APARTMENT TO GET YOU TO THE AIRPORT QUICKLY, CONVENIENTLY AND ECONOMICALLY!
DO YOU WANT TO VISIT BARCELONA BUT WANT A QUIET GET AWAY AT THE END OF THE DAY? OUR APARTMENT IS THE PLACE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THEN. THE SUMMER MONTHS IN BARCELONA CAN GET VERY CONGESTED WITH TOURIST TRAFFIC AND SINCE OUR APARTMENT IS OFF THE BEATEN PATH BUT YET CONVENIENTLY LOCATED TO ALL THE TOURIST ATTRACTIONS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION IT IS THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!
Modern, spacious, light filled, clean one bedroom (matrimonial bed) with private bathroom/shower, and sitting room available in a loft apartment centrally located in Barcelona. A 20 minute ride by bus from the Barcelona airport and a fifteen minute walk to the train station for both national and international departures.
Each guest will have access to an open, shared kitchen. (washer and dryer available upon request). Wifi provided.
The apartment is 15 minutes walking distance to Plaza España, Fira de Barcelona, Parc Montjuic (Magic Fountain Display), Fundación Joan Miró, Poble Espanyol, Palau Sant Jordi, and the 1992 Olympic facilities (HOME OF THE X GAMES FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS). Easy access to subway lines 1,3, and 5, various bus lines, and the train station.
Great location for getting around Barcelona. Just around the corner from our apartment you can pick up bus 91 which will take you directly to Plaza Cataluña, las Ramblas, and the Boqueria Market. If you prefer the subway, which is within walking distance, you can also pick up lines 1 or 3 and they will also take you directly to Plaza Cataluña. Line 5, also within walking distance, will take you to Parc Guell the famous park designed by Gaudi.
Authentic Cultural Experience! Our apartment is in a working class neighborhood with a great location but a bit off the well trodden tourist path this makes it a great experience because you will really see how the Spanish live on a day to day basis! Added bonus, things tend to be a bit less expensive in the neighborhood bars and restaurants! Bienvenidos a Barcelona!!
To be respectful of our living space. No smoking please inside the apartment. You are able to smoke outside as there are two patios, one interior and one exterior with very easy access. We also ask that when you go out you turn off all lights in your room and/or heating and cooling appliances to save on electricity.
I also ask that there is not excessive drinking in the room as this is a family residence with under age children.
It is also expected that guests will not bring home or invited anyone in their room who they have not previously registered or paid for in advance.
IF YOU PLAN ON USING THE KITCHEN PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE DONE EATING AND CLEANED UP BY 10:00 PM AT THE LATEST. SINCE THE AREA AROUND THE KITCHEN IS COMMON SPACE AND LATE NIGHT COOKING IS DISRUPTIVE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.
PLEASE ALSO BE AWARE THAT CHECK OUT TIME IS AT 12:00 UNLESS A LATER DEPARTURE IS AGREED UPON. THIS IS DUE TO THE FACT THAT MANY TIMES I HAVE ADDITIONAL GUESTS ARRIVING THE SAME DAY AND NEED TIME TO CLEAN AND STOCK THE ROOM. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING!
We had a lovely stay! The room is comfortable and the location is great, not far from the metro and cool sightseeing spots. Tina is a great host; she was very helpful and understanding :)
Sorry to be so late in leaving this A-PLUS review for Tina but we just arrived home and couldn't get on line before this!! We were made to feel very welcome both by Tina and her two children and Leah, a beautiful Greyhound! And two gorgeous cats. Totally enjoyed our stay, the bed was very comfortable, the ensuite bathroom very clean and we had everything we needed. The location is excellent - only a 5 minute walk from the bus stop which can go toward the Plaza d'espagna or to the airport for a bargain price of 2E15!! We would definitely stay again with Tina and family. Thank you guys. Carole and Ted
Tina is a wonderful person, polite ,friendly, knowlegdable and welcoming. She gave us good tips about things to do and also about tips to stay safe.
The room was nice and exactly as the pictures. The location of the listing is very good.
Tina is really nice and helpful.we stay in bacelona for 3 days and live in her house for 2 nights.the house is warm and beautiful.Tina's daughter and son are really really easy-going.they give us some suggestions on shopping and (email hidden)e dog and cats are so cute~~
Tina and her children were very friendly and the place is very nice and comfortable. The area is not touristic but more local which we prefer and walking distance to the metro in Placa de Espagnya. My son & I had a wonderful long weekend!
Tina was a wonderful host. She went out of her way to make us feel settled and at home. She familiarized us with the surrounding area and walked us to the nearby store, bus stop etc, which was very helpful.
The apartment itself is very neat, functional and well decorated as shown in the pics. The room had a clean and well sized attached private bathroom which was a big plus for us.
The location worked very well for us, since we had an early morning flight to catch. The bus stop is less than 5 minutes by walk from where the bus will take you to the airport in maybe 20-25 mins.
Tina was very kind to guest us even if we arrived very late in the night. The room was clean and confortable and the position is strategic for both airport and city center. We would recommend it to everybody, specially couple looking for great weekend in Barcellona.

Hello my name is Tina and I am currently residing in Barcelona, Spain where I have lived for the past eleven years. After all the hustle and bustle of Barcelona, scooters, sirens, and lively Spanish children :)! I love getting back to Oregon and truly have a new appreciation for its natural beauty and tranquility! I love to cook and find the Mediterranean diet to be truly outstanding and I now like to experiment by incorporating local ingredients into Spanish dishes. After extensive travel through out Mexico and now the many years I have spent in Spain I consider myself to be nearly fluent in Spanish, although my teenage children would disagree!! I have a degree in cultural anthropology and so I am naturally interested in and enjoy cross cultural exchanges and meeting people from different backgrounds. In my spare time I enjoy road cycling, yoga, and quiet time reading.
