We really enjoyed this charming apartment and its amazing location! There is a lot to do in the area - there are bars and restaurants on every corner, boutique shopping, and a laundromat and grocery store accessible on foot (the last part is strictly practical, but an awesome perk for travelers). There is also easy access to two Metro lines for site seeing and to facilitate arrival and departure to/from the city. Despite the many attractions, the apartment was nice and quiet. The shower and bed accommodated my 6'3" husband, and the small kitchen was sufficient for preparing small meals. Additionally, Nathalie and Jean-Jacque were VERY friendly and helpful. This AB&B is clean and lovely, and we loved our stay and hope to go back some day!
Great stay. Apartment was small be had all the essentials. Fantastically located , our host could not meet us , but getting in and out was easy with very clear instructions provided. If you are looking for a place to sleep and leave your things while enjoying Paris , this I the place for you.
Nathalie and Jean-Jacques's apartment was perfect for us. Great neighborhood, close to several metro stops, and only up one flight of steps, which meant we had an easier time with our luggage. As other reviewers have pointed out, it's on the back side of the building facing the courtyard, so it doesn't get a lot of natural light. That was just fine for us - we needed a place to get some rest, so the lack of light was helpful! Plus, being on the back side of the building meant we didn't get any street noise. We did notice some light rumbling every time the metro trains came through under the building, but it was a pretty quiet ambient sound that we got accustomed to very quickly. The apartment is small - more like what North Americans would expect from an economy hotel room than from a proper apartment - but it was totally adequate for my wife and I. The kitchen isn't really practical for any cooking, but it would be great for making some coffee or tea or quick sandwiches. The decor in the room was really nice. Nathalie's work is super pretty, and she clearly put a lot of thought into the color and interior design of the place. The bed wasn't super comfortable, but better than most of the beds we found elsewhere on our trip (in Iceland, France, and Turkey), and we had a couple nights of good sleep. We'd definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Paris!
My stay in Paris at Nathalie and Jean-Jacque's was great. The apartment is very small, but not at all inconvenient - I'm a taller fella and the bed and shower were more than enough to handle my size. The locale is perfect for those looking to explore Paris by foot and metro and while there are several little shops and bars on the street, the apartment was surprisingly quiet. This charming little spot has nice wood floors and I appreciated the collages. On top of it all, the check-in/check-out set up was very convenient and accommodating - no problems, no confusion. I would recommend to anyone.
