  • What a great mini vacation!
Seba's place is conveniently located in walking distance to sights, to public transportation and many restaurants. Most of all we enjoyed the fabulous roof terrace.
The host was extremely nice and accomodating.
    Highly recommended :-)

  • Fantastic location. We loved our time in Venice. This apartment is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to all major sites. Restaurants, wine shops, coffee, gelato are all within a block or two and far from the crowds of St. Marks. Apartment was clean, beds were comfortable. The apartment reminds me of someone's weekend cabin, a little cluttered and everything is a little old and worn but very usable. The decks are a real plus. The apartment is very large. Though the master bed is in a loft with steep stair access and about 4 feet of head room, a little awkward to get in and out of.

  • our stay at Seba's home was wonderful, it is perfectly located, very spacious and clean, the terrace is delicious, the whole place seemed to us very harmonious and we felt very happy there, surrounded by books and paintings with Venice at our feet. It was a marvelous week.

  • A friend and I stayed in the loft for two nights. The best thing about the apartment is its location. It's less than a five minute walk to the vaporetto (water bus) and a bridge that crosses the Grand Canal toward the major attractions. So you're close to everything but away from crowds. The views from the roof top deck are incredible! Lidia (Seba's friend) contacted us via email a week in advance to make arrangements for check in and was very nice and helpful when we arrived. The bed in the loft space was comfortable but because it was very hot in Venice during our stay we chose to sleep in the lower level of the apartment instead where it felt a little cooler. Overall a great vacation in Venice!

  • The reviews sounded overwhelming and it promised to be spectacular so I booked the place for my friends who I had invited to Venice while I resided in another place. I wish I had better things to tell, really! But appart from friendly Lidia, two truly wonderful terraces and an airy homely feel it became a total disappointment and an embarassment to me! All 3 friends complained bitterly: there were underblankets and covers missing which ment they were cold at night and the ceilings in bedroms showed mildew stains which for one of them was a real problem due to allergies. The result was: noone got any sleep and they all moved out and over to my cramped place! They had been asked to pay 20,- cleaning money yet there was still garbage from the guests before - which they were asked to bring down themselves - and the bathrooms didn´t look like they had been cleaned. Mind you, these are NOT women who complain on a regular basis or are used to luxuryhotels. I have the feeling that something has changed since April, due to the good reviews before end of may. With appropiate improvements there is hope that it will be a great place to stay in the future.

  • We had a fabulous time.We did not meet Seba but Lidea met us and explained everything. She waited for us despite of 2 hrs delay. It's a great location , the loft and balcony offer a fantastic view. It's very cenral located close to accademia and vaporettos, shops andsSupermarket. A perfect for a holiday in Venice providing a great refuge from the busy streets.Very much to recommend.

  • We had a great stay in Seba's loft. Venice lived up to all my expectations and the sun shone for all three days of our visit. Staying in the loft only added to our great visit. Perfect location, in a quiet spot, close to everywhere but away from the crowds. Amazing view from the top roof terrace (not shown in the pictures) over the Guidecca canal - lovely spot for breakfast. The apartment had lots of character and was very homely - everything that makes Airbnb better than a hotel! They were also really flexible about check out and let us keep the apartment until we left for our night-time flight which made life much easier!
