This is an old mill town; therefore, the streets are narrow and parking is tight. If you need parking for more than one car, it is imperative that you inquire about other guests being at this location during your stay. There is additional on-street parking, but it is first-come first-served and not necessarily right by the house.

  • Didn't actually meet Melissa, she left the key under the mat and I left it under the mat when I left the next morning. The accomodation was perfect for my overnight stay.

  • We have stayed in this apt several times and will no doubt be returning. Melissa could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Cabbage town is incredible with great restaurants, parks and tons of local color. The apt is cosy with a super comfortable bed AND a LR where my insomniac spouse could do his thing without disturbing me. I particularly appreciated the full kitchen this last visit.

  • It was a great stop over for us on the way to Savannah. The apartment is clean and modern, our friend who slept on the pullout said it was the most comfortable couch she's ever slept on. Melissa was great with communication and it was easy to follow her directions for parking, getting in and out of the property and tidyup when we left. Cabbagetown is a great community with good places to eat and get an evening drink all close-by. We were really happy with our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

  • A wonderful place to stay with plenty of places to eat and drink within easy walking distance, the accommodation is both spacious and very comfortable and a real home from home experience, this is so much better than staying in a Hotel, looking forward to staying again next weekend.

  • Such a cute place! Very comfortable king-size bed, all the amenities you need. Right on Carroll St., across from the fun and delicious Carroll Street Cafe. A general store just up the street open until 10p in case you forgot something. Melissa is lovely, timely and considerate.

  • Melissa's place is so comfortable, clean, and in an amazing location. This is the place you want to stay if you are visiting Atlanta.

    March 2014
  • Great attention to detail, and Melissa was very responsive.

Bed was super comfortable, and the whole place was impeccably clean.

Cabbage town is just an awesome place to visit with many authentic restaurant bar spots just a few steps away.

Classic old building with every modern convenience and adorable front porch when your in the mood to watch the world go by.

  • This is a great little apartment-- convenient to downtown, clean, nice appliances, thoughtful touches from the host and fun neighborhood. Definitely a great place all around!

    February 2014
  • I booked this space for my boss. It was conveniently located in a neighborhood nearby where we work, and it was very nicely renovated in many ways with one pretty substantial exception. The shower is not made for normal sized adult humans. Other than that, he enjoyed his stay there, and Melisa was a clear and easy communicator.

I'm a high school History teacher at the only high school in Smyrna, Georgia, which also happens to be the school that my teenage son attends. In addition to being a teacher and a mom, I'm also a wife. So obviously, I'm always busy. I absolutely love going to festivals! I also love anything that has to do with history! My husband and I have a goal to start an organization that will focus on assisting inner city youth. Too often, this demographic is falsely incarcerated, and they do not have access to proper legal assistance. Our desire is to start a coalition of professionals who will dedicate pro bono their services to this underrepresented population.
