  • The Atomic Ranch was amazing!!! The house was seriously so cute and Angel was so responsive and organized with everything about check in and bookings. The house was in a great location to Soco and really got to explore some parts that we probably wouldn't have ventured out to if we hadn't stayed here. It was very easy to get around Austin from here even with no car. Angel makes some great recommendations on places to go. The house is decorated so cute and makes you instantly feel very welcomed. This was such an amazing experience on all accounts! Thanks again

  • Location, location, location! This was a great house for our 4 days in Austin. Close to Congress, 1st Ave, and downtown/park.
Parking for 2 cars if needed. Neighborhood safe and walkable. If you have kids, there's a small playground at the (huge) Catholic Church just across the street. There's also a high-end French restaurant behind the house with a large flock of peacocks- my kids loved watching them (Green Pastures restaurant- just walk toward the bamboo-fence house, then right at the corner- dead-ends at the back gate to green pastures).
I'd recommend this house to anyone, except late sleepers; there are dogs on all sides, and from about 7am on, barking is pretty regular and loud.
Angel was very receptive and timely in her texts. Never met her, but why would we if everything was working?

  • Just as expected, warm, comfy and very retro. Great proximity to South Congress shopping and really easy to enter.

  • We could not have asked for a more responsive host--often got answers to questions in seconds. The house was pretty awesome too--fun design and decent proximity to lots of fun stuff and good food. I could live at Torchy's Tacos.

  • I rented the space for a weekend party and Angel was pleasant, prompt and easy to work with. She had everything taken care of and gave me all the information I needed to get in a settled. Everything went smoothly and the party was a huge success. Everyone commented on the gorgeous space, too! I had a wonderful experience and would love to return.

I love sharing my home with friends and strangers alike. I've lived in Austin for 12 years and am happy to point you to spots off the beaten path (Cathedral of Junk) to the sparkling jewels in the middle of the city (Barton Springs). I'm a User-Experience Designer for a Clean Tech/Energy Management start-up. I love the challenge and rewards of conserving in all aspects of life. I enjoy bike riding, brewing and drinking craft beer, gardening, petting my chickens, sewing and DIY projects, seeing live music, traveling, and eating great food. I've only been to 13 countries and 25 states. I most recently spent a few months in Hawaii living off grid on a living farm that is doing reforestation on the Big Island.
