This fully furnished apartment in a typical roman building has everything you need. It is situated in the historical center, just next to Trevi fountain. In about 5 minutes walking you can reach Spanish Steps and the shopping area of Via del Corso. Also a famous street Via Veneto of Dolce Vita is just a few minutes away. Piazza Venezia, Roman Forum and Pantheon are all reachable in 10-15 minutes walking distance.
The apartment is on the second floor. It has one master bedroom (which faces the back wall of Presidential palace), a living room (with 1 sofa-bed and 1 single bed), a bathroom and a kitchen. The living room is full of light with two windows facing on the street.
The apartment has a very good connection with a public transport. Metro Barberini is 2 min away.
The supermarket is less than 50 meters distance. The area is full of restaurants, shops and bars.
WIFI: 3G portable modem (you can take it out of the apartment and have a wifi spot around the city)
Smoking not allowed in the apartment.
Towels and bedlinen provided.
The apartment was super nice, spacious for 4 people, clean and had everything we needed. The location couldn’t be better, in the very heart of the city and also very quiet. Everything was close and reachable on foot. The portable WIFI worked great. We didn’t get the chance to meet Jane, but she was very helpful over the email and her friend Alessandro who was waiting for us was really nice and gave us directions and tips. Overall, we had an amazing time in Rome and hope to go back there very soon! Thank you guys for everything!
The Location is extremely Good and Convenient! As the apartment is centrally located at Barberini near Trevi, We Walked to all attractions: Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Colesseo, Roman Forum, Pallatine Hills, Piazza De Pololo, Castel St Angelo and St Peter's Basilica from this apartment over 2 days. The Apartment is Huge and Spacious with a nice Living room with fire place and day bed, a toilet/ shower room, a double bedroom and a separate room with a fully furnished Kitchen. Only downside is the heater sometimes do not work and the long winding spiral staircase up to the 2nd level of the apartment. No joke if you are lugging a 25kg Luggage with a 10kg Backpack.
But Overall experience here was good as the apartment was clean and nicely maintained.
The apt is very nice and clean and actually very close to trevi fountain. Location is perfect.
Few of things to be aware -
1. There is NO LIFT/elevator. The apt is on second floor with winding stairs and huge steps. Not a big deal for a normal person but just in case you have kids/old people etc.
2.There was very low pressure shower in bathroom and hot water is limited. NO long hot showers.
3. And the apt was cold. The heating was not working. Jane said they fixed it while we were out. It seemed to be working for a while and then the heaters went cold again. So if you are going in winter keep this in mind.
Overall get this apt if you plan to cook and/or are getting a better deal here than the hotel.
Perfect location, a few meters from the subway and the Fontana di Trevi. Walking distance to all the main sites. The apartment was really clean and confortable. Jane wasn't there, but her friend Flaviano, who was really kind, was waiting for us and gave us directions and tips. I would highly recommend it!
The apartment was perfect. Just like the listing, and Jane was totally great. Highly recommend.
Fantastic location, very large apartment. Everything you need!
I can't imagine a better location! It's about 30 minutes walk from the train station. It is close to the Trevi fountain , Spanish steps, and colosseum. Very close a grocery store. Jane met us at the apartment, helped us with our luggage and gave us great recommendations. The portable WIFI worked great. The apartment was big! Nice tub bath. Futon & couch & bedroom were all comfortable. The pictures represent the location well.
Everything was perfect! The apartment is spacious and well-equipped, well-cleaned. The kitchen has everything we needed for breakfast, we never cooked since we liked to eat out. The street is a bit noisy so we preferred to keep the windows closed at night which was no problem because it was not so hot any more. Check-in and check-out at our chosen time was easy and Jane was very friendly and helpful. There was a problem with the bathtub when we arrived which was sorted out immediately by Jane and her friend. As recommended by other guests we went to the restaurant „Albrecht“ next door. It was OK but not more.
We liked the the small family run grocery shop „Alimentari“ on Via del Boccaccio and regularly bought our cheese, salami, wine and bread there. Don't miss the fresh home-cooked pasta they prepare for take-away at lunchtime, it's delicious and a good start for a long day in Rome!
Jane was a fantastic host & responded very quickly to emails & enquiries. She organised a travel cot for our baby which was very helpful. The apartment was clean & tidy & everything worked as it should. It is in a fantastic location only 3 minutes walk from both the metro & trevi fountain. There is no air conditioning but Jane does supply a couple of fans & the windows let in a nice breeze. This would only be an issue in the middle of summer. We are from queensland in australia & we stayed at the end of summer/ beginning of autumn so it was fine for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks Jane!
We loved the apartment. Wonderful location, within walking distance to most attractions, surrounded by interesting little shops, bars and restaurants. Clean and well appointed, reasonably quiet considering the area.
