  • Loved staying here! The pictures on the website are beautiful, but they don't do the property justice; you must experience it for yourself. There are awesome views from the front and back of the house. The villa is cozy and fully equipped. Perfect place to stay with your bridesmaids before a wine country wedding. Donna was very accommodating and helpful! Would love to stay here again in the future.

  • My husband and I stayed at Villa Amici with two of our dear friends and we had the most incredible time. What a lovely villa nestled in breathtaking wine country. The charming home, impressive music collection, outdoor pizza oven, vegetable gardens, bocci court and vineyard made for a perfect getaway. We felt very much at home which made our trip that much more relaxing and enjoyable. Villa Amici is a lovely place to stay; we couldn't recommend it enough!

  • Nestled amidst vineyards in Alexander Valley, Villa Amici is the real life, American version of Under the Tuscan Sun. Olive trees? Check. Vineyard? Check. Wood fired pizza oven out back? Check. If you like to cook, desire easy access to wine-tasting, and look forward to watching the sun rise and set over the grapevines, you will love this place. If you also love to make your own pizza, you won't want to leave.

Donna is a lovely, gracious host, and makes your weekend (or longer, if you're lucky) trip a breeze. She even leaves you some of Villa Amici's wine and olive oil to enjoy during your stay. Go with your significant other or your friends - you won't regret it!

  • I had a fantastic experience with Donna and Villa Amici. Donna met us at the house, even though we weren't arriving until fairly late on a Friday night. She was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the process.

The house is beautiful, and it was perfect for my group. It's well stocked with everything (bedding, toiletries, coffee, etc), very comfortable, and in an amazing setting. We didn't get to take advantage of the pizza oven, but we played a few games of bocce and enjoyed relaxing on the patio overlooking the vineyards.

We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I bought Villa Amici in 2002 in order to pursue our dream of making wine. The name Villa Amici means 'house of friends' and we have enjoyed sharing this little piece of Tuscany with many of our friends from around the world. Since buying the home, we have added the vineyard, bocce court and pizza oven to enhance the experience. Besides making wine, we enjoy cooking, traveling, fly fishing, discovering new foods and wine.
