Also: klare Empfehlung. Everything's perfect!
The location of this apartment was perfect! We spent the better part of each day in the center of rome (within walking distance of the apt) and spent every night in Trastevere -- eating at the many restaurants and bars. There is a great cafe just down the street where we had breakfast nearly every morning. This area is the perfect balance of being out of the hustle and bustle of the city center, yet being close enough (by foot!) to explore everything with ease.
Apt was clean and spacious. One downside was that the hot water does not last very long in the shower -- learned that the first night! Aside from that, great light in the apt, quiet building.
Our stay in Rome was fantastic, and we would definitely stay again. The house was as is in the pictures, very clean & in a great neighborhood! House equip with everything you need and (email hidden) to relax at the end of a day! Luis was extremely helpful & friendly & even organized a transfer to the airport for us! Definitely recommend this place!
Really nice flat, well-decorated. We liked the area. Travestere has lots of small restaurants and lots of young people.Walking distance to historic center was a bit further than expected. Luis was very friendly and helpful. So, very positive feed-back. Dieter
We had a wonderful time in Luis apartment in Rome, the place was cosy, spacious and well-equipped. We felt very welcome and at home, and it seemed everything was thought of. It is a shame that there are no real view, because of the high windows, but we enjoyed the little courtyard in the afternoon, beautiful, with lots of plants. The location is perfect, everything is around the corner, nice cafes and restaurants, but the apartment is quiet. Luis was very helpful and nice. I would definetly recommend it.
Great location, fabulous for walking around the tourist mêlée of the historic centre, then relax in the more laid-back Trastevere. Apartment is as it looks in the photos, spacious and clean, no real view though as it's ground floor. The high window in the lounge (strangely as there are built in steps up to it) has a sign warning you not to climb through to the balcony outside, which is a shame.
Great area, nice apartment, Luis is friendly, would consider staying again.
Luis (email hidden). Even before we arrived in Rome he had worked with us to ensure there was a car waiting for us at the Airport -- which was great given we had just spent the last 4 hours in Ryan Air hell. Navigating through Rome is tricky, so we would recommend the car if your given the offer.
This was our first time in Rome and Luis was very helpful in making sure we knew everything we needed to know about Trastevere and the city. He speaks Spanish, French, Italian and some English and spent close to an hour talking with my girlfriend in Spanish about the city. He even had a bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival.
The apartment is nice. It was fairly spacious, and even includes a pull-out sofa if you have guests. There were fresh sheets on the bed and clean towels when we arrived. However, the hot water in the bathroom leaves you with only 5-8 minutes for showers before you are showering in cold water. The apartment also advertises WiFi, but in reality you are sharing with the neighbor (or neighbors). In order to stay connected to the Wifi network we had to huddle up against the head of the bed with our phones/tablets pointed in the direction of the neighbors apartment. This was pretty annoying.
We also hit a snag with the security deposit. Listed under house rules (probably not the best place) were rules governing security deposit, which is to be paid in cash when checking in. Fortunately we had barely enough cash, and Luis worked with us to make up the difference of the ~20€ we were short.
Despite the WiFi and hot water drama, the apartment was great and in an amazing location in Trastevere. Within minutes of walking out the door you are walking through the lively streets of the neighborhood packed with restaurants, vendors and nightlife. We would recommend the stay if you're visiting the city.
My family & I had a great stay at Luis' apartment. The location is superb, and the building is so Roman! He and his fantastic assistant were amazing in making us feel welcome & suggesting restaurants and nice areas in the neighborhood. I highly recommend!
The flat is just as it looks in the pictures. Was perfect an confortable. Would definitely recommend it!
Luis is a friendly and helpful host!
