The stay at Liberty Hollow was perfect. Zach was incredibly kind and had prepared the cabin for my arrival. Everything was very clean and well taken care of and the entire weekend was exactly what I had hoped for! If you want a place to take a deep breath you definitely want to book a few days here!
If you're looking for a very quiet, out-of-the-way place to relax, this is your spot.
Zach met us and opened up the cabin. He had candles lit and the ac running. Fresh eggs were already on the kitchen table. He had lit the gas stove and made sure that we were settled and didn't need anything before leaving us for the evening.
We were staying in the area to possibly relocate and this stay helped nudge us in that direction.
We have never slept so well in a place that was not "ours". Getting lulled to sleep at night by peepers and night birds is something we will always remember.
Each evening we would sit on the front porch and enjoy watching all the animals, after being greeted by at a few of the dogs (a great way to be welcomed "home") after a day of driving back country roads.
We hope to be able to stay again, as our house search progresses.
The cabin had everything we could want and is in such a peaceful setting that all stresses slide off of you as you enter the property.
We almost want to keep this a secret, but other folks must deserve tranquility, too.
Thanks Sharon. We are so glad you enjoyed your visit and that you love our little piece of heaven!!!! Of course, our farm animals are all our pets and we do spoil them. If your goal is to eventually make it to Tennessee, it is a wonderful place. We too moved to get away from the city and live in the country where there is more peace. City folk gone country. Hope you do come back soon.

We arrived late in the evening and spent one night in cabin 2. After a long days drive it was nice to be greeted by such nice and welcoming people. Cabin was clean, cozy and quiet. If you love nature and dogs this is your spot. Fell asleep to the hoots of great horned owls and a sky full of stars and a slept like a babies. The farm fresh eggs and learning about the animal rescue work they do was a n extra bonus! Good people in a rural country setting.
My guy and I had a delightful time at Liberty Hollow Cabins. We arrived in the late afternoon and were greeted by Zach. He had fresh ground coffee and fresh eggs on the table. There were also several doggie friends, mini horses and donkeys and a paso fino to greet us :) We enjoyed our stay for the weekend and were very relaxed. The cabin is lovely. Our only glitch in the plan was when we were both faced with the "loft" and the "ladder" :) Being in our 60's, that was a bit of a problem, but was solved by having a lovely futon downstairs! It was incredible to wake up early the next morning and see all the animals grazing in the yard. We took our coffee on the porch and enjoyed the community. Finnegan, a great pyr, took care of us through the night and kept the evil-doers from our door. What a big, white heap of love he is! We were able to meet Charles and Kathy on our last day, as they were out of town. If you want a great place to stay with a "peaceful easy feeling"....this is the place for you. We will be returning!
Joel and I had a great time at Liberty Hollow - simple, relaxing, overall fabulous accommodations. We brought our pup and I'm pretty sure she had the time of her life as well.
Our stay at the cabin at Liberty Hollow was amazing! Zach took excellent care of us, we loved the fresh eggs and enjoyed all the friendly dogs and farm animals that lived on the property. The farm is a great place to hang out and relax and there is beautiful hiking in the area.

About the Host, Charles, Kathy And Zachary
We moved to the country after living in Florida our entire lives. We have a small hobby farm where we enjoy seasonal organic gardening and the daily interaction with our "pet" farm animals. All of our farm animals are very tame and enjoy the company of people. Our Dexter cows, mini donkeys, mini horses, chickens, dogs and cats are all free to range our property. Liberty Hollow is cross fenced and gated which allows our guests as much or as little interaction with our farm animals as they wish. A stay at Liberty Hollow Farm is a memorable experience. Kids love to play in the creek and enjoy fetching farm fresh eggs from the chicken coop.
