The apartment itself was well equipped and got everything you'll need. It's cosy as well, but some of the interior is a bit used. We easily stayed there with 4 people. The neighborhood is ok, if you go in the wrong direction from the apartment it gets a bit scary, but right next to the apartment everything was fine. The apartment has a good location, shops, grocery stores, restaurants and a train station all about 10 minutes away. Parking was a bit difficult.
For the host: responded shortly after asking anything, didn't met her, but she was always reachable. The whole procedure with the keys and checking in/out was a bit unclear at first, but worked out after texting!
Although she was relatively easy to contact to we didn't actually met Ally in person, it was a friend of hers who waited for us at our arrival. The day of our departure we leave the keys inside and closed the door. The apartment and the neighbourhood was exactly as we expected. We had a slight problem with the wi-fi password (it's not well written on the web) but as soon as we told Ally she helped us. The nights we spend at Jersey City were cold but the heating system worked perfectly even though it was quite noisy. The bed in the bedroom was big and comfortable and the couch too although we missed a pair of extra blankets. In summary, we would recommend this apartment to a short stay in Jersey City.
We spent our christmas holidays at this apt.
We chose it because of its closeness to the PATH-train ( Journal Sq).
The neighbourhood may not appear too friendly at times, but it's quite okay once you get used to it.
We hadsome problems with the preparation of the apt (cleanliness, sheets ), but Teia was very quick at answering and very helpful. We didn't meet in person though.
Teia is generally responding, I did not see her in person, the flat is cozy. The neighborhood is ok, nearby nice restaurants and close to journal square.
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The place was nice and as expected. Teia and Ally were nice and were happy to allow us to check in slightly earlier than scheduled whilst also checking out slightly later! The unit is good value for money in my opinion.
